Question about buying gold

If I buy gold using an alt account to avoid getting a 2 week ban, how long should I wait before trading it over to my actual account to make sure that I'm completely safe?

 

Your never really safe, theres always a risk of a ban, I think mule account age/lvl skills ect plays a role though, Older the account less likely getting banned.

I don't know for sure though.

 

Jagex aren't retarded, they know people use alts and stuff, my friend wanted to sell 1B it was his first time RWTing he transferred it to his level 60 and the main account got banned not the level 60. If JaGeX catch you, you'll be banned regardless of what you think is "safe". At the end of the day you're still breaking their rules and they employ people trained to track people such as yourself, using an alt isn't going to fool anyone.

 

As long as it's my first offence and I'm not actually selling gold, I should be fine even if they catch me though right? I know selling is a perm ban but I've only heard about buying being 2 weeks max for first offence.

 

If you're buying under 100M i believe it is and it's your first offence then you'll be banned for 2 weeks if caught (which is rare).

However if you try muling gold and transferring it between accounts to get to your main account they could see you a gold seller/farmer and perm you.

I buy it on an alt and trade it over with random items all the time right after I receive it

They dont target buyers as much as sellers. 2 week ban is a slap on wrist IF you get caught

 

i've bought like 1bill on my main so far and not been touched... risk it for the biscuit but simply trading from your alt to your main just makes it suspicious if anything

 

Really just up to chance. May get caught, may not. The amount of gold bought daily really slims down the chance, as they can't catch everyone. Just be careful.

 

Ok what about buying gold off a person who is a swapper and deals in large trades all the time? I buy on my main and transfer to my alt which is gonna be my new main, both accounts are 15+ years old with no offenses ever not even a mute. I usually get about 1bil every 2 weeks. After 5 months still going strong, should I even be worried much?

 

Again it’s just a chance for everyone. You can buy for years and never be caught then maybe one day you’ll buy some and get banned. But i really wouldn’t worry too much, if you’ve got the money to buy 1B every two weeks i wouldn’t even worry at all lol.

 

You really only have to be concerned if its over 1b at a time. I always buy gold on my main and have never received a ban or anything.

Buyers don't get tracked that hard like sellers do. Unless youre buying daily or weekly it probably will go unnoticed

 

Unless you are dealing with tens of billion of gold constantly, you probably won't get banned for RWT. If you do, it won't 2 weeks it'll be permanently

 

Yeah most RWT ban's I've seen were for at most like a month, usually 2 weeks.
