I'd like a global moderator to review this as it's a very serious case imo.

How they scammed: Milotic has sniped my rsn: "Religion" knowing that I was in the act of selling it.

I'm gonna add discord, cause thats where I've been in contact with Milotic.

Now here is when it gets interesting. The account "Religion" was sniped on is: "Forever"
This name is owned by Alice and or Milotic and hasn't moved account since.

I think its pretty fair to say, that it's pretty obvious what has went down here.

I'm sorry if this comes off as an attack, but I'd like to know ur reasoning behind tagging Alice and not Milotic.
He's clearly the one behind this, even if it's a team-effort by those two.

This leads me to think that their plan is to make Alice's account take the blame, while they can continue their malicious endeavours behind the scenes.

 

Due to reasonable proof shown here, I'm going to DNT both users as Milotic is the one who knew the RSN was for sale & it seemingly having been put onto Alice's account.

Either of you can explain what's going on. @Alice @Milotic

 

Hi, I'm DNT and I don't think it's justified.

There isn't any proof that the Twitter screenshots are:
A - Alice's account
B - real - can they be linked instead of a poor quality mobile screenshot?

Even if you assume that both of these are true, why am I DNT/being reported? Surely this has absolutely nothing to do with me.

Assume that both A and B are true - Alice owns that Twitter account, it's a real tweet. What does that have to do with me? Moreso, what evidence is there that Alice still owns the name over a month after it was supposedly posted?

Is there any proof of it belonging to Alice? As far as I recall, I've never seen her post anything about owning a Twitter account on Sythe. Remember all those odds staking Twitter reports and how hard it is to prove somebody owns a Twitter account? Don't you think it's a little silly how this burden of proof is being thrown out the window? On what evidence is this being assumed to be her? (Once again, why am I even involved in this?)

I don't care if people dislike me, but I do care that I'm losing business as a result of personal bias in reports against me. You don't have to like me, but you do have to follow the rules and take them into account when dealing with a report on me.

Confirmation bias and circumstantial evidence is most definitely not the high standard of proof normally required for reports on Sythe. Two admins are dealing with this that I know of, and we're DNT for this crap? Disappointing.

 

This has nothing to do with personal opinions about you, otherwise I wouldn't have had contacted you about moving the name for me at first.

EDIT (just a funny notice, if mods want proof of the account being Alice's you can PM): I find it really convenient that you're asking for linked proof of the twitter post, after Alice's twitter has been made private.

 

A. I have proof this is Alice's Twitter - if you would like to see it, PM me as I don't want to leak the other person involved. Not sure why you're acting like it isn't, or as if it would be worth trying to stall confirmation (or whatever the question begs to ask - when it IS his Twitter).

B. I'm more than certain the tweet would have been deleted by now, if it were real, and I'm aware that the account is now private as well. So I guess if you want to stall the real issue here again, so be it. It's unfortunate that some of this proof can be deleted and/or hidden.

You are being reported because both Alice & yourself are constantly side-by-side (as far as it is relevant: in name sales). You refer to yourselves as "we," you have allowed people to pay either one of you for sales in the past, whatever else proof I could request I'm sure it's there to show that you guys work side-by-side.

Both A & B are true (I guess B cannot be proven anymore, but can someone provide proof this screenshot, now unable to be re-screenshotted, was doctored?) There comes the question of do we disregard proof because it could have been faked equally so as it could have been deleted? I'd prefer to request proof the image is doctored, since this is (presumably) the claim.

There is proof of it belonging to Alice - granted he can prove otherwise in terms of a faked image. (Once again, you guys work side-by-side so it is reasonable that this action has been taken to further the investigation.)

It has no question of disliking you or not, or being bias or not, there is reasonable evidence being presented that (in your defence) at the very least, Alice is involved in this.

So are you still denying that this is even his Twitter as well as having ever owned the account/RSN that the sniped name was transferred to? There's no point to when there is proof of both. PM me if you choose to disbelieve what I am saying.

There is no confirmation bias here, I have never once been bias in a scam report, and any time I am unsure of something or feel perhaps I may be missing something for whatever reason, I will seek further counsel on it (yes, even as an admin), and this is easily more than circumstantial evidence. We all know directly proving that a name was sniped is next to impossible, its everything around the snipe that proves people to have scammed.

Yet the information in this report is worthy of a DNT for both of us? It's laughable.

 

We always DNT for reports not yet resolved which may involve a pay-back. Sorry this one is taking longer than "normal" but you know why it is and should take more time, when a case like this is more sensitive and difficult. We've more than well established that this is Alice's Twitter, and I know you are asking for proof, some of which I cannot show you due to sensitivity but it can be confirmed through any other admin of your choosing. Or you could stop sending me on a goose chase for things we already know to be true, so we can deal with the actual report. Making me waste hours, and countless DMs with multiple ppl trying to track proof of the Twitter being Alice's.

I also showed you proof that actually ended up relating to Alice's report, how coincidentally funny.

 

What has this got to do with me? I'm DNT for something that has nothing to do with me.

 

Sorry to post as this does not directly involve me, however I would like to add some findings which only took me 10 minutes of twitter browsing.

Sure, here you go:

1) Go to twitter profile: foxes (@foxesdietcoke) | Twitter and browse it's history for tweet tags that cannot be viewable since the marina acc is private.

2) find these tweets:

A) ingame screenshot of "Alice" and of course "marinadietcoke" being tagged:



B) some paint meme directly tweeting "marinadietcoke" with "Alice". Self explanatory.



Once again, apologies for posting in a report that does not involve me. However if nobody has managed to find "marinadietcoke" tweets through external profiles such as this, retweets and social interaction between profiles is a good way to find hidden content.

I have also downloaded the entire profile content including others with the "dietcoke" in username incase the profiles coincidentally get hidden.

If for any reason more research is required, I am happy to help. I use a lot of SEO scraping tools which can also be used for scraping profile information which otherwise can be difficult or timeconsuming to find manually.

We already have more definitive proof that this Twitter is Alice's - we aren't stuck on that anymore I don't think right Milotic? But thank you for the post above.

I spoke with Alice briefly yesterday and she had showed me TS logs for having sold the account along with the RSN "Forever" connected to it. Though TS logs were sent, there is no date-stamp on them, and Alice refused to screenshare with me when I was requesting more proof, thus I am not sure what we are going to do about that. Ultimately, we don't know when it was sold, leaving it up in the air: did Alice still have access to the account when the snipe took place? I'd also like to reaffirm that Milotic is still DNT currently due to having shared logins in the past, and with Alice having been away, then who had access to Alice's account? We aren't sure it was even sold prior to the snipe, so it leaves Milotic in the equation. There's just a lot of things the team and I are sifting through currently but this shouldn't take much longer for a final conclusion.

I am currently writing up a master post containing all proofs that have been collected for this report as well as proof sent by Alice, and it will be posted in SL for staff input.

This situation was not forgotten about. We are waiting for one more admin's response on the discussion.

 

Both Milotic & Alice have been banned due to being partners and lack of sufficient proof in having sold the account that sniped the RSN. This ban is three months long as per our guidelines and when expired, will leave both with a DNT linking to this report.

Repayment can be made to staff or MNH himself.
