Best Genre and/or Band?

What my question is can you give me a logical and positive reason why a certain genre is the best without saying anything negative about other genres.

Also if you disagree with what someone has posted before you. Keep it to yourself and prevent from quoting. I want no arguing and if someone attempts to argue attempt to completely ignore them.

I want this to simply become a little booklet to show the positives of all different genres of music without anything negative.

Let's see if it's possible.

 

I listen to real old school rap, like the old days when big pun, big L and tupac where still around

 

melodeath because always great guitar solo's and they sound good and have a nice good sounding melody with them.

 

Ok that's nice, but that's not the question. The question is why is it the best genre?

 

well, it depends what im up to at the moment.
for example: when i train i listen to trance/house/hardstyle to increase my performance. And for relaxation i can listen to rock/rap.

BUT, in my oppinion rap is the best genre becouse i acctually get's motivated by some of the texts. BUT, in my mind, neither genre is better then the other, if a song is really good, most people would like it even tho they normally dont like that type.

so, to make a resume; when i get goosebumps, its a good song. Genre don't really have anything to say.
