Chances of ban?

hi just wondering how safe it it for me (an Australian) to get banned for buying an infernal cape?
Since no one from Aus does it yet, none of the capers can use a vpn from my location because it'll be way too laggy.
Has anyone in my situation done it?
Thoughts?

I'm from Australia too , I don't even know what a infernal cape is.

 

If the person who does the service for you is using a proxy the chances of u being banned could be low, i'm not 100% sure tho.

why not just use something like teamviewer? let them remotely do it using your computer/ip essentially?

 

Id honestly recommend going with something like teamviewer. It doens't affect your IP and is the safest. Could be more pricey tho

 

I have done an aus cape before with my methods but i believe they had higher net specs. We talked briefly but, I don't know if I mentioned this... The first acc I practiced on was made and owned full time by someone from NZ back in 2017. There is a certain point where jagex looks past IP flaws if the other person has had access long enough to the acc / had mulitiple attempts on it. Therefore, if you technically let someone on your acc from america for a while and he had several attempts on your acc, I believe the ban rate would be low. Although for the amount of time this would take, paying someone a decent enough price would be hard to do infernal cape rates. Your best bet is to have and gear and american friend lacking an account to do your inferno for practice.

 

Best is to get a good network temporarily. Such as local library with fibre optic, hopefully you'll then be able to find someone with minimal ping from your location to then do it via teamviewer. Max is 300ms before It'll become uncomfortable.

 

With how often capes get removed you're much safer learning the inferno yourself. If you do buy though, you should probably get in touch with those who have done the most. They'll know better than the rest of us on how to avoid bans, and even if they don't do aus capes themselves, they might be able to direct you to someone that does.

 

A big risk since its new content.
