    Vegetarians? Why?

Actually, you can get all the vitamins and minerals you need from only eating vegetables. You don't have to eat meat to survive you know.

    Vegetarians? Why?

Actually TJ, that is not completely true. Yes, vegetables supply you with a vast portion of your required nutrients and vitamins. But the matter of the fact is that without the amount of protein that meat gives you, only certain vegetables give you necessary protein. Certain types of beans only give a insignificant amount of protein compared to meat. Protein pills? Sure, but some people can not take them and we can not use them forever. Also, meat gives you vitamins etc. that vegetables do not. Meat builds up your body mass too. Just because your smaller does not mean you are healthier or better off. This simply means that you do not build the body mass that you would normally acquire from meat. Now, witht hat body mass we can go days without eating, weeks (2 or 3 maybe) without eating. But if you eat only vegetables, you have a constant need for food since you are not storing any energy with fat. So, a vegetarian can only last a couple of days without eating because they have not built up enough body mass to store energy. And this would require us to grow more and more vegetables, use more, and waste more when you could simply eat meat and reduce the necessity for these products.

    Vegetarians? Why?

i personally dont understand it, its not like when you order a double cheeseburger they go into the back and kill a cow and produce it from there. But it does somewhat make sence, if the amount of vegetarians drastically increased, it would severely dent the command for produced meat.

animals do not have enough intelligence to fell real pain when they are killed. It is nature. By being a vegetarian you are telling everyone you disagree with the way Nature is supposed to run.

    Vegetarians? Why?

So your solution to this problem is to directly kill and eat animals? I can't understand your logic which seems to be something like this. Problem: Thousands of small animals essential for the surrounding ecosystem are killed by vegetarian's harvesters each year.
    Solution: Eat meat.

Short of growing my own food there isn't really anyway to not kill some animal, and thats ok with me.

Where the fuck do you think the meat comes from?

    Vegetarians? Why?

Alright this is the way I see it:

I honestly feel very bad for the animals as I am a soft-hearted being. However it is scientifically proven that in order for the world to continue to go round, and the food chain to not break, we must kill to survive. We are the dominate race and that means we defeat everything in our path to survive. Therefore it is essential to eat meat, however bad it may sound. I am not vegetarian because I realize this, but don't get me wrong; I hate the hurt of other living creatures.

    Vegetarians? Why?

God does not exist. That is what I believe. For me, it is irrational and quite dumb to believe in him. There is no feasible evidence to suggest he does exist. That is what I base my logic on. Hell be to me? So be it.

    Keep on topic next time.

Why would you feel bad for the hurt of other living entities? They don't directly effect you.

    Vegetarians? Why?

Yes I do, but it is in a minority of cases, due to the fact that we are the dominant race who only allow domesticated animals into our places of residence. Probably the largest animal you'll find on someone's property is a horse, and you can't tell me that is vicious.

We don't give animals a chance to kill us. It is survival of the fittest, and we are the fittest. We haven't even the need to hunt any more, because everything has become simple for matter of convenience. The minority of animal-related killings are usually from vicious animals such as crocodiles/aligators, bears etc.

How is meat horrible because it comes from an animal we kill? Meat is meat, whether it is living flesh or dead. You are made of meat, therefore using your logic you're a horrible person. I personally eat what is given to me. I could care less if it was meat or brussel sprouts, therefore none of this matters to me. However, vegetarians act irrationally. They don't eat meat, but meanwhile tonnes of meat go rotten and must be thrown out. That meat could easily be used to feed entire families, and you refuse to eat it just because it comes from the animal. Hello? The animal is dead for fucks sake, irrational food waster.

Well, for humans, they're either pets, hobbies (horseriding) or indeed food. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't see why you're being so sarcastic about it.

    Vegetarians? Why?

Animals are going to die anyways. So we should wait for animals to die from old age or carnivorous bacteria, and then we cut up the corpse, and feed them to hungry people. Mmm, delightful.

People choose to be a vegetarian because they believe that animals are living creatures, and they do not deserve to be slaughtered, and to be eaten by us humans. Therefore, they choose to stick to leafy plants and such. I find it ridculous, because it's fucking impossible to drift away from juicy, tender meat.
