Would like to warn users of this scammer named OneDefence in a transaction involving one of his accounts, username of Runescape account can be provided if prompted for. This guy had the audacity to play the victim game when asked to provide recovery information stating he had a son sleeping in his room and couldn't log in or respond timely despite having been asked on separate occasions across the span of 17 hours (note his Discord indicated that he was on OSBuddy on all occasions). Was told to wait for the next day for his reply after his supposed work shift (which was believable as I was heading to work the next day as well and might as well wait for the following day to sort the mess). I later logged off the account for the night as I honestly trusted the guy (items bought included dragon claws, zenyte set, other gear and supplies). The next day I find out I am blocked and can no longer reach the guy on top of having zero access to the account. Have tried recovering it but the login e-mail is linked to a separate recovery e-mail. Here are screenshots of the conversation throughout transaction:















I honestly have not returned to Sythe since only to buy 75m four days after that ordeal to start my very own personal account to avoid any of this in the future (vouch log for RSGoldfunds to highlight the span of this event). Special thanks to King for reaching out to me and advising me to create this thread. My loss will hopefully prevent others.

2. ATTENTION! ALL SKYPE/DISCORD PROOFS MUST INCLUDE THIS!

Please include the Discord ID of the user and where you received it. If you traded GP please provide screenshots of the trade + username.

He got the account, then stated "whenever you want to play feel free to hop on, i'm going to load the account with proper gear for you" "oh you haven't done fremmy isle, rip" then stated "do you have 60 attack on your alt yet? LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU DO, I HAVE DCLAWS FOR YOU" i'm confused as to why I've become DNT, my post STATED I DIDNT HAVE THE EMAIL AND HE STILL PURCHASED. And this whole post is beyond irrelevant, he's stating I scammed him dclaws in-game, what does that have to do with Sythe even IF I had scammed him which I didn't? He got the account, we can have him login and see who was the last person to login, and i'll give you my IP. This is complete horse shit.

I apologize for the crazy account problem, I really understand how shady this looks and probably won't even get many offers on a buyer, but it's worth a shot as I don't use the account and have no use for it whatsoever and I'd rather not just give it away. i want him to login and get the IP of who logged in last, since i’m being accused of taking the items off his account. this is stupid, i’ve never done anyone wrong. i do 07 services, i’ve been vouched for. why would i ruin the reputation i’ve been trying to make for myself?

 

@OneDefence & @paveelyon - This boils down to word versus word, in which the only way this can be resolved is a refund of the account. We have no way of verifying either side.

@OneDefence - You are to refund the price of the account to @paveelyon.

 

Boils down to word? I posted the proof of what he purchased, i told him to change the password he said no, i did everything right.

 

He didn’t even play on the account. I did everything right followed all the rules. I haven’t touched the account since, have him login and show the latest login. There’s got to be another solution to this. i’m a donator, i do services, i have vouches from well known user. like @PureCaper and i’ve never once had any other situations other than this guy. and you can even see from the pictures he was sketchy about things.

 

Wait just a second. He’s stating i never answered him with “recovery details” he was asking me to hop on to return his dclaws he “loaned” you can see where he cropped the discord message on the 5th picture. you can see where he didn’t crop the right messages he accidentally put “how long you be on” with the wrong set, look at the text. And the post selling the account clearly states i had no access to the original email or anything else and he still took it upon himself to purchase. so again, i’d love to see where i deserve the DNT. He bought an account knowing i had no access to anything else “recovery wise” so that was his OWN DECISION. I think that answers everything, and i’ve done nothing wrong.

@Champ Sure, I can get the account for him. The only thing I can possibly think of is I used to share it with a friend a little over a year ago. I'll text him, and if he changed the password I'll get @paveelyon the information but I'm sending it to you, that way it can be confirmed I've "given the account back"

 

@Champ I just want to point out, by the way. I don't know why I didn't point this out before. He's saying he bought an account with NO RECOVERY EMAIL or any other info. Okay, in that case, the password CANNOT be changed. How could I, or anyone else recover an account that has NO recovery email, @paveelyon is obviously lying. I can login to the account with the same password he used, the problem is Authenticator is on the account. All he would've had to do is ask me for the auth, which can't be removed either which I also stated in my post. So therefore, this DNT situation is invalid, the whole problem is he bought an account with no recovery email, and he can't disable authenticator. He can still login, the password has never been changed. He just has to ask me for the auth every single time. So furthermore, I'd like my DNT removed. Because this case is cleared now.

 

He bought the account KNOWING there was no recovery email, he said so himself.
