    Read some tuts, practice and try and do something other then just a few filters and a render and text and maybe a brush or 2...

    Pretty good for a beginner, although the text is way too choppy. Try using PS and setting it to "smooth".

    Try using anti-alias on your fonts. Maybe that'll fit more with the blurred look that the rest of your gfx have.
