    Maths/Physics Help Please

    my maths teacher went out of her mind and gave us these questions.

    Help please

    1 Un Einstiens equation the speed of light is squared
    a) write out what 300,000,000^2 is
    b)How many zeros
    c) if a billion is a million million write out the words for the number in par (A)

    2 Using Einstiens equation, work out approximately how much energy is produced by:
    a) 1kg mass
    b) 2 kg mass
    c) 10kg mass

    3 Using powers we can write a shortcut notation for these large numbers. For example:

    9 000 000 = 9 x 10^6
    50 000 000 = 5 x 10^7
    etc

    a) write out your answer for question 2 using the shortcut.
    b) Using the shortcuts work out approximately how much energy a 40kg mass can produce.

    4)
    a)How much mass would it take to produce 27 x10^16 Jules of energy?
    b) how much mass would it take to produce 45x 10^16 J of energy?
    c) How much mass would it take to produce 9x 10^18 jules of Energy?

    E=mc^2

    2 A)

    E= 1kg x (3 x 10^8)^2

    E = 9 x 10^16

    4 A)

    27 x 10^16 = m(3 x 10^8)^2

    m = (27 x 10^16) % (3 x 10^8)^2

    m = 9kg

    for #2, the other guy did it wrong.

    It's:

    e=mc^2 where m is the mass and c is the speed of light.

    So:
    E = 1 kg * (3*10^8)^2 m/s
    E = 9*10^16 kg-m/s which is the same as Newtons. So you can just put down 9e16 N as the answer for that. And using that equation, you can use the rest of the masses.

    The other ways to find energy (just a few), F = Mass * Accel. Potential Energy = Mass * Gravity * Height. Kinetic Energy (1/2) * Mass * Velocity.

    The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s. I am just finishing up physics this year (9th grade) and I have gotten A-/A's on all 3 terms an an A on the midterm, just so you know that I know what I am talking about. Don't feel that bad if you don't get it, it is definitely a difficult class. It is like a 2nd Algebra class, and I took Algebra last year, so it comes easy to me.

    PS: For Part C on your first question, your teacher is a f**king retard.

    haha i had a mind blank lol totally forgot about E=mc^2been ages since i did physics.

    anywho, i can answer them now.

    so 4 a)

    27 x 10^16 = m(3 x 10^8)^2

    m = (27 x 10^16) % (3 x 10^8)^2

    m = 9kg

    I'd help you if I remembered any math. Just get out a calculator and follow basic arithmetic. Also I love physics.

    Its not as simple as that you turd.

    I doubt you have any understanding of advanced maths or physics.
