[DENIED] Link user who name changed to previous pardon's/disputes

Pardons are a clean slate.

How many times do we have to beat this statement into the community, there has ALWAYS been a complete consensus among staff that pardons should be a clean slate I have never since I've been on sythe seen a staff speak against pardons being clean slates - period. Pardoned users offences are forgiven AND forgotten, THATS WHAT PARDONING IS. Those offences are forever wiped, you don't see staff drag up offences that were pardoned and be like "oh but he did this this 1 time but then pardoned it". Thats not how it works, its a CLEAN slate provided you admit to everything properly.

We don't name shame people who pardon, we don't give them special ranks, we don't make fun of them, we don't brand them like cattle, they are sythe users with clean slates when they return to this forum after pardoning.

If they want to change their names - They have as much right as any of us.

End of story.

As much as I hate to agree, @Divine is 100% correct. If you want to utilize your ability to change names leave it at that, you are allowed it, don't hold someones past against them especially if they successfully pardon.

People make mistakes, some learn, some do not. Regardless of knowing their past, there will always be the one that excels and becomes a changed person. On the opposite side of that there is always gonna be one who messes up. We do our best to make those judgements, but ultimately we can't predict the future. A pardon is and always will be a clean slate with a chance to prove yourself once again.
