Dude, just say fuck the church and get on with life. If your parents "Force" you to go to church, just respond with a flat "no" and do something else. They'll get used to it eventually.

Anyhow, I don't see the point of "confirming" for any such organization. It's like saying "Hey, you believe what we say but you have to do all of this bullshit to be considered one of us".

Just bear in mind that it's a meaningless ceremony that's based upon false reasoning. I honestly and truly believe that they are deluded, so my participation in their little game meant nothing to me.

 

Just because you're confirmed doesn't make you a Catholic forever. How can you be called a Catholic if you're atheist? Sounds to me like some stupid little ritual to trap people in the religion.

Plus, you can always bring a picture of the Pope to church and rip it up in front of everyone and you will be excommunicated forever.
