All communications containing your RS usernames are now 128-bit encrypted and encrypted again on top of that. This is incase Jagex were hacking or intercepting traffic, if they weren't it's good to be able to virtually rule it out anyway. Passwords are not transmitted at any point. The reason I suspected this may be the case is shortly after an RID login a J-Mod jumped into the game less than a minute after I started the bot, I was able to get away by sending false usernames of non bot-users logged in at the MTA, and logging out of RS, he may not have been after me it could have just been complete coincidence, but if it was a coincidence it means he was just randomly world hopping (no other bot users were online at the time). If it wasn't a coincidence it means they have been illegally intercepting traffic intended for the RID server. If he was randomly world hopping you guys should be pretty safe if you avoid coming online during these times.
There was a problem with V3 with the automatic system to detect CPU speed that was causing the mouse to move faster than intended, this is now fixed and looking more authentic than any I've ever seen.
There has been a news system added to the bot to keep you up to date on J-Mod sightings, what times they come on and what action they are taking if there are any more bans.
I have also put in place a system to moniter hours used per day, and give advice, and possibly in the future restrict those who use it too much, or if people accidentally leave it on for too long. But for now it's up to you whether you want to take that advice or not, but remember it's all there on the server now and will be coming to the My Robot page, along with other stats, soon.

The actual gameplay may still need tweaking in areas, so there will be more updates soon too. And I promise to get through all of my e-mails/pms tomorrow.

Got a bit held up, had to update a lot of the site to remove the RS pics before I put it all back online, and then there was the inevitable unforeseen bug or two, but it's now up and running and I've got to say I'm pretty excited about these updates.

Instead of being automated the mouse movements are now those of a human player using a touch pad - no I haven't chained anyone to a computer and yes it's still 'technically' automated, but using advanced techniques that would take huge processing power and overhead to ever become detectable. I'm thinking these will not need updated again, but saying, that it will improve gradually as they are fine-tuned. There will also be other modes like regular mouse instead of touch-pad mouse coming soon.
One of the downfalls of the last version was that Jagex have known about it since Oct 2007, and have been studying the bot for months which through some good work on their part payed off when they managed to identify and issue high black mark bans to several users, and in some cases the same people were caught two or three times. From now on the most sensitive parts of the bot will be a mystery to Jagex, whether they reverse engineer the client or not. This makes the bot safer than ever before.

The bot automatically checks your PC spec, and decides how many 'steps' to break each move into, so each individual move is as 'detailed' as your computer will allow.
I'm pleased to say I've been using a lot the past few days and feel safer than I have before using the program. I still recommend you use sensibly though, don't go over the top guys and I hope the wait was worthwhile.

FAQ

Q: When will the PC bot be released?
A: No release date has been set, but once a date is set, it will be published here.

Q: Can I cheat using a Robot in Disguise? Is this a hack?
A: No. Your Robot will neither read from or write to game code. It will not show you anything you don't normally see in game and will not control the game in any way other than keystrokes and mouse movements. It is 100% passive, working solely by reading your computer screen to see what's going on.

Q: Is it possible to be banned for using this?
A: It is against the rules of the game to use this kind of software, but version 3 is the most realistic program we've released to date, nobody has ever been banned and it's unlikely you will be the first. In the past however, due to security flaws Jagex were able to analyse sensitive parts of the program and there were several cases of people receiving 5 black mark bans. It's believed playing in excess of 8 hours a day, on average, puts you at risk of receiving half of a blackmark. Despite Jagex turning their attention to the previous version, with J-Mods spending shifts patrolling the MTA, there was only one confirmed case of a player receiving 10 black marks in a single offense from version 2. To summarise, there will always be a risk of some form of ban while it is against the rules, but we continue to improve and with each update the program becomes safer. No player has ever been banned using Magic Training 3.

Q: Doesn't this defeat the point of the game?
A: If you use it to bypass content, definitely. However reaching level 99 in a single skill can be repetitive and take upwards of 800 hours playing time, that's 15 hours a week for a whole year mostly spent repeating the same tasks, and there are over 20 skills. We receive many letters saying thank you for helping improve players' RuneScape experience, one from a customer with a carpal tunnel, meaning he was previously unable to perform the repetitive actions required to train his character. If you don't have enough time, find the training boring or physically can't do it, then using a Robot may be the only way you will ever unlock the content, so it works both ways.

Q: How does the timer work?
A: The timer is only active when you are logged into the game, if the bot logs out for a short break it will stop the timer. It only counts down when it is logged in and playing, so you are free to use the hours at your leisure.

Q: Sometimes my bot stops before it reaches it's points target, why does this happen?
A: There are two things that cause the bot to stop early, running out of runes or encountering an error. Errors are usually caused by severe lag and are rare, however when you are running for periods of 5+ hours they can and do occasionally happen, this will cause the bot to log out. With a good connection it is more than capable of running 24 hours a day.

Q: Will random events cause the bot problems?
A: No, inside the Mage Training Arena mini-games there are no randoms so in the process of reaching 99 magic it is unlikely you will encounter many. There is however code included to deal with randoms, although it may not necessarily solve them.

Q: In the graveyard mini-game, I lose health so is it safe to leave the bot unsupervised?
A: Yes, it's a safe mini-game and should you be unfortunate enough to die you will only lose 10 points and keep all your items. If you die regularly in the graveyard then it is likely the program is running slower than it's target speed, to find out how to fix this view the support page.

Q: Is this bot for members only?
A: Yes.

Q: Will you make bots for non-members?
A: No. Our bots are intended to provide an expert training service, rather than gold farming. All the best ways to train are on members.

Q: Will you update it so the bot is minimizable?
A: No, we will not hack the RuneScape client or service in any way.

Q: Does this work on Vista?
A: Yes. Just set theme to Classic from the control panel before you start.

Q: What is the minimum magic level required?
A: You can start the Enchant mini-game from as low as lvl 7 magic.

Q: What runes do I need to start out?
A: The bot will recommend an exact inventory depending on which mini-game you wish to play, but as a brief guide the main runes you need are natures, laws and cosmics. It is also recommended to buy a fire, air and mud staff, although you can substitute these for runes. To give you a rough idea, if you start out with 500 nats, 250 laws and 200 cosmics, in approx 4 hours you can earn a pair of infinity boots. You can also make a great profit on battlestaffs, which cost less than 3k in runes but sell for approx 7-8k each, so you can start making a profit right away.

SUPPORT

Two things required for smooth running of the bot:

1) Low detail

2) Brightness set to 2nd lowest

As well as having the correct RuneScape settings you also need to have colors on your computer set to 32-bit. For most computers this is the default, but to change it, for windows users: in the start menu go to Control Panel > Display > Settings, and set color quality option to 32-bit.
Vista users must set theme to classic before they can run the bot. To do this go to Control Panel > Personalisation > Themes, and set theme to classic, also make sure transparent windows are off.

Some common errors, along with solutions are given below to help you get your bot up and running right away:

Problem 1:
Instead of starting the program, double clicking opens a folder containing class files.

Solution:
This happens when your operating system fails to recognise the â€˜jarâ€™ file type. To fix, right click on the file and choose to open with \Program Files\Java\jre...\bin\javaw. Once selected your operating system will remember and open the program correctly in the future when you double click.

Problem 2:
When trying to run the file with javaw it says 'Error: could not find main class.'

Solution:
This is usually caused by your browser renaming the â€˜jarâ€™ file to â€˜zipâ€™. To fix this just change the file extension back to â€˜jarâ€™. For Windows users, go to Tools > Folder Options > View (in Windows Explorer or My Computer), then uncheck â€˜Hide extension for known file typesâ€™, click â€˜Applyâ€™ then you can rename the file extension by right clicking the file.

Problem 3:
Mouse moves slowly and the bot fails to meet itâ€™s targets.

Solution:
The mouse should run at the same speed as human movement, if you think yours is running slow you can fix it by first opening the bot menu, then press Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Task Manager and in Task Manager click on the processes panel, right click on iexplorer.exe (or the process belonging to your web browser) and set priority to high, then right click on javaw.exe and set priority to real-time. You should now be able to run at full speed even on older machines.

Miscellaneous:
If your problem is none of the above, you will probably need to update your Java to get the bot working. Update your Java here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.
Many problems can be solved by experimenting with different browsers or removing the toolbar from Mozilla Firefox, or changing the screen resolution from Control Panel > Display > Settings. If you have tried all the above, please e-mail customer support, they will investigate your problem and find a solution within 24-48 hours.

On a side note, have either of you communicated with RID since his thread was locked? If i were him i think now would be a perfect time to unveil a forum on his own website But then again he is really busy with the finishing touches of the new auto-talker and bot. Well best of luck and i'll personally try to keep this new thread clean of the useless spam that got RID's thread locked.

I think this post that I posted on the previously MAIN RID topic, and please guys make sure this or any or thread's get spammed.

On topic: Thank you Rooney for creating this topic so there is some sort of communication going on.

Although the release date has been pushed back again, it has only increased by 1 day. So this means that Robot'z is probably in the finishing stages just checking for bug's ect... So guy's do not spam this thread saying "OMG WE HAVE TO WAIT LONGER", if your not stupid you would realise it is going to be released real soon.

Thank you Robot'z for taking the time to make sure that our account's remain as safe as it possibly could be whilst using this bot.

With all respect I think that people should not nag on at him about the release date of the Pest Control bot as he has put alot of work into maintaining the quality of his bot, as a result making it better quality coding for Pest Control. If he does have to add another month onto the release date off the Pest Control I think we should all understand that the time is much needed.

The PC bot has no release date so please keep this thread focused on the MTA bot only. When robotz updates his site or any of us about it we will post it here as well.

Shame to see the old thread closed, but if you think about it maybe 50% of posts in this section each day were on that thread, and extra activity has clearly led to more work for mods. Perhaps a good compromise would be to start a new thread together with an official RID forum where people can discuss all things related to the bot(s). I'll look into it when I'm finished writing the new version of the bot.

It will no longer use just an approximation of human mouse movements, they will be (as good as) real - something I've had planned for a while, it would essentially mean mouse movements that will be undetectable not just in the short-term, but always, and after a while wondering if it was possible, I now have a way to do it and I'll be putting it in this update. The sights have moved higher as work has progressed, but it's coming together and is now at the point where I know how to do it, how much is left, and a good idea how long it will take.
Sorry for pushing back the date but it will most likely take until 2nd of May to finish the coding and then testing, if all goes to plan.

On a side note, thanks xrooney for making the thread and good luck to Man U in Moscow.

Any ways for people Who Don't check his site the new bot will be Version 3 he has done a complete overhaul of the bot making it more advanced than ever and its Set to be released on May 2nd.

Obviously spam is an inevitable. However, responding to spam by spam oriented answers is no further beneficial than the origional action. Please from now on, don't respond to any spam related messages. This only increases the chance of this thread being shut down just as the last RID thread was. So again, I ask of you not to even respond to spam, simply ignore it.

For all of you smart asses who are going to quote this and say "oh, you yourself just spammed". Shut the hell up and get off my thread. I've lost all patience with you and will not lose another thread because of you. Good day.

Thank you very much Hm0ng and Roner for your support and assistance. You both have license to post as you wish as long as it's beneficial and non spam oriented (which I doubt either of you would do in the first place).
