Best AntiVirus?

What is your preferred AntiVirus.
I chose Nod32, however i used to use KasperSky.

Kaspersky 2009 BETA (Not warez)
I found this download on a warez site, but its not cracked or keygened etc.
When you install it it will come to an installation screen select "Become a BETA tester."
It has some pretty cool functions and such, but in its current stage its a bit unstable, crashed two or three times on me.

i use McAfee, pay for the full thing, it has done well for me for 2 years.

Avast is the best in my opinion, finds all viruses and allows you to abort connections to infected web pages if it detects one

 

yes sir! McAfee gogogo. i personally only used mcafee because it came with my Dell computer

 

Kaspersky Internet Security is superior.

Anyone who uses Norton deserves to die.

Why would you pay hundreds for shitty software then many dollars just to update it?

When you buy Kaspersky (the full internet security suite) it costs just over $100 for a two year subscription I believe, with no side costs.

Edit: I may point out that Kaskersky has picked up viruses where Norton, AVG, Avast and McAffee haven't.

Nod32 is great for internet security,Kaspersky is great for files on your desktop and file scanning.

 

I personnaly use Norton, a corporate edition (my boss paying for it), as i need support.

 

I use ESET SMART SECURITY

 

I'd have to say Nod32 or Kaspersky although I am currently using AVG Free edition. Norton is a resource hog.

 

I don't know if its the best but I use norton and I've never gotten a virus.. Then again I don't download files that are infected anyway.

as long as you don't look up p0rn or download files off of sythe ur fine basically. i scan and update everyday and never got a virus that was a real virus yet. (no, i have never been key logged hack or anything)

 

How do you know you haven't gotten a virus yet? When I was using Norton, I installed AVG Free and picked up a few after one scan. Fully updated AVG versus fully updated Norton, and AVG wins.

I'd have nothing against Norton/Whatever company that produces Norton if they actually gave their customers value, and didn't make them pay constantly for updates when there are plenty of better applications out there that do a better job.

 

Personally, I use none and stick with www.virustotal.com.

If I had to choose, I'd pick AVG. That might just be because it's the only one I have installed, but never use it.
