It doesn't.. we should get back on topic.

Yes.. It is touchy feeling. Your view on happiness is an emotion, but you are letting your other feelings and emotions get in the way of the fact that happiness is cosmetic. What you are explaining is love which is another completely different emotion that sparks happiness. Love is a currency for happiness, as is money.

Happiness has nothing to do with the facts and statistics of being homeless. You can be as rich as possible and be very unhappy.

I agree some of the way. Yes some chose to go homeless via drugs, alcohol. But i think that some couldn't help it. Are country is starting to go in a rescission. Meaning loss of jobs and the economy is going down. Sense there is less money being spent we don't have a way to help them get out of there homelessness creating a mass effect. Just goes to show you to be thankful for what you have and what you got. You should go to school and do your best while you can. Trust me i had alot then had to barley start over with nothing. sucks.

well, if you weren't born in poverty, its your fault. Or the Mexicans for taking your job (NOT Racist. Fact)

If you were born in poverty, chances are your mother is black, on weed, whipped you for embarrassing her in front of her boyfriend, an ex-con, and chances are you don't know your father.

NO but really. If you were born in poverty, chances are you wont get out. Your parents can't really motivate you because they don't/didn't/won't care what education you get. The didn't care about their education, so why would they care about yours?

there are homeless people that didnt want to be homeless. Like if they got robbed, spent all their money on a business but it didnt go well. in Australia i heard they're trying to reduce homeless teens. but yeah, theres also the homeless where they have a drug or alcohol addiction and the ones that gamble

About the happiness, you might be happy, but in the long run, you'll still be homeless.

most of the peeps that are homeless because of some accident or soemthing like that gets help from social security. but the junkies and alcohol addicts.. they don't even try to do anything about it. so I agree. like 90% of homeless have caused it to them selfs

I find it really rather ruthless that you have the nerve to speak about homeless people and their own personal problems as if you're globally enlightened.

The chances are, the majority of them have not brought homelessness on themselves, or are afflicted by other negative factors preventing them from finding a home, such as trauma or personal deficiencies.

'Junkies' and alcoholics are usually drug addicts due to relying on a certain type of drug to ease their suffering while homeless, or alternatively to give the user a sense of importance or happiness. I'd imagine were you homeless, you'd likely be highly depressed.

Saying homelessness is brought upon the user by himself and himself only is far too general - in a vast number of cases, it likely is- as Shakaka said- caused by a series of unfortunate and financially destructive events, rendering people destitute and jobless. These people may be too ashamed to seek refuge in a 'shelter,' as they have been used to a high standard of life previously.

To sum up, I think you're being too assumptive. Although there is a great deal of self inflicting homeless people, some have a genuine cause, which should really be empathized.

there is a insurance out there that protects you if your robbed...also the government helps you when your robbed.....

as for business..... the only thing that is business and are homeless from business is the movie pursuit of happyness.

if you are smart enough to start a business than you should be smart enough to use only a portion of your money instead of all of it so that you have enough left if the business does not go through.

i highly doubt any homeless people are veterans........

why? because the government gives you great benefits if you work for government(teachers, post office, police, library) and even better benefits if you were in the armed forces

I find it funny how you ignored Finn's post.

He made a good point, and thats kind of what I've been saying. If you don't want to hear what others have to say, and be ready to counter it, then don't even post what you think.

because he is somewhat right... but i still dont think that homeless people are drug addicts AFTER they are homeless.

also they still have a choice of whether to do it or not.

they know that drugs are illegal and it makes you feel better after jsut the first or second time you try it.

i still think that they were addicts which caused them to be homeless or cause of abuse at home or other things i mentioned in my first psot

the only exceptions for not working are either a mental condition or physical disability but the government (at least in canada) will usually support those people enough for a house and food and basic needs. a lot of homeless people in the cities choose to be either for dignity or drugs.

the dignity part- not willing to accept helps from others when they're totally fucked

I know, that is your opinion.. and you are entitled to have one. But the way that you project your opinion you make it sound like a fact, when it is NOT.

ya the usa gives money to people with disorders and disabilities

there is no way to prove im right or you guys are right jsut like how there is no way to prove that god exists.

many people believe in god but many people dont(mainly depend on religion)

we cannot go to every homeless person in the usa and ask them because for one we do not know where every single homeless person is and another reason is everyday the homeless count increases(from what i heard from internet and friends, heard that everyday 1 homeless man dies and 2 more people become homeless)

You are using Shredderbeams stubborn response. Instead of arguing with facts you simply say "you can't prove me wrong."

and shredders response works.. also i explained why you cant prove it also.

just like how we were morphed onto earth by animals which is why we have characteristics of many animals but i do believe there is a god out there somewhere and that there is a heaven and hell and when we die we will go to one of them but i just cant prove it
