Is this lyme disease?

Yeah this thing started coming up like 1-2 days ago and now it's pretty big. It hurts like a bitch when ANYTHING including pant touch it. I took three pics with my junky camera phone so hopefully you can make out at least one. There is a small blackish dot in the center with a kind of raised red circle around it and then a less bold, larger circle around that. It's on my leg.

Umm, i'm no doctor but i dont think so. Lime disease usually has a bulls-eye like mark on your skin. So, i would say consult a physician about it because you want to catch it early if it is, it is only treatable in the early-middle stages.

 

Is this not a bulls-eye? Two concentric circles... What, I'm suppose to wait for three or four circles?

We don't have very good health insurance right now and I don't want to waste my parents money on nothing. We're not the richest people... I mean we're not poor, but why waste money if this is just like an ingrown hair or something?

 

Consulting a physician does not cost a lot of money, treatment does. And a bulls eye for a tick/lyme disease mark is a RED dot surrounded by little dots in a perfect circle. It most likely is not, and you should talk to a doctor.

Comparing both pictures, I'd say there is a possibility (if it's in the early stages of lyme's disease). If you have been touching it and irritating it then, its probably not lyme's disease. From my knowledge I'd say that it's most likely not lyme's disease, but there is a possibility.

 

Alright well then is this thing safe to pop/lance/drain? Besides infection, could anything bad happen?


P.S. I don't touch/play with thing thing in any way. It hurts.

 

Do not open, or expose the wound in anyway. Even if it is not lyme disease, it could become infected, and then you have a serious problem. So really, consult a physician (maybe get treated, if you can afford) and then see where to go from there. Doesn't look like a tick bite to me, tick bites are usually red.

 

I think it is cancerous AIDS tuberculosis. Either that or you are growing a new nipple.
