If they don't wait for your opinion thats a sign of a scammer.

Also, Make sure to think your transaction through completely before undertaking it. The market can be pretty "impulse buy" friendly, and on impulse your defences arent as well prepared.

just look out for anything suss and you should be fine ;)

Ok here are some signs of a basic potential scammer:

    1. Untrusted Leecher asking for you to go first.

    2. Leecher selling an account that is above 400 dollars

    3. Not accepting a very well trusted MM

    4. Wants to use an mm you have never heard of or seen

    5. Fakes identity on MSN, AIM etc.

    6. Rushes the conversation, constantly asking for money.

    7. Is not willing to show you account, items or money (not required to, but usually sign.)

    8. Selling a very high end account for a very, very low price.

    9. People who are "quitting", "bored of", or "just worn out" of RuneScape. (in some cases)

    10. People who "need" the cash for books etc. (in some cases)

    11. No pics, not willing to provide pics or unable to access account.

    12. Refuses to use MM. (Thanks Kin Kong)

    13. Very demanding. (Thanks Kin Kong)

    14. Many different MSNs, AIMs etc. (Thanks Kin Kong)

These are some basics that i just thought of off the top of my head. If you can think of any more that would be great.

Unfortunately, your statement leads me to believe you are a ban evader. If not that, you own multiple accounts here on sythe which, in my eyes, my say you have tried scamming before. What's the point of this thread? Trying to gain some valuable information so that you won't get caught this time?

I know, there a legit sellers like that. But most scammers use that little maneuver to cover up their trails. I'll edit it so it says in some cases.

Well remember, some ask you to go first because you are not very well trusted. I'd say, if they are trusted and can PROVE it with valid info, then negotiate. But if they are leechers or anything like that, proceed (or not) with caution

He might or might not of, but i did.
Anyways, just always be suspicious of people. Try to use a MM or a really well trusted person. ALWAYS TAKE PICTURES IF YOU GET SCAMMED!! text logs are not proof.
