Mage Training Arena Bot - earns 6M in 24 hours

For several weeks, I haven't played runescape due to the increasing pressure of exams coming up. I decided to log on yesterday and boom, I had received a ban for breaking Rule 7, and as always, no proof or evidence, just the statement that it was based on collected evidence. The only bot I have used is Robotz my entire runescape career (and I have been playing since Classic), but oddly enough, not for several weeks now. The ban was given I believe on April 23. I immediately appealed, and its is now pending, and I immediately locked the account due to the nature of the appeal. Robotz, you should probably contact me concerning this, and as an addition, in order to prevent spam from noobs, this is not an attempt to receive free hours. This is a warning that Jagex may possibly be looking into records of people previously suspected of using the bot, and banning based on that evidence. I should also probably note that this is the first blackmark(s) I have ever received on my account.

 

The jagex looking into people's past could effect this. i also believe that they MAY look into ppl's account records.

Anyway, looks like the site has been updated to show that it should be coming on the 29th (if it doesn't work, clear your browser cache first).

I really hope he gets it done by then. The prices of infinity items are coming down because we no longer control the market. A shame because I don't need many more points to get a mages book, and if I could've sold a week ago I would've got an entire million more (I can't really get the points myself as I have too much school work at the moment, and besides , graveyard is boring as sin)

 

actually, i think the price of infinity was up because of the fist of guthix, and the demand for combat items..

 

Come on robotz.. I was under the impression that today would be the final release date, now it's two days later. Please give yourself some time, instead of pushing back the release date every two days man.

Stop spamming up this thread and asking for him to release it ASAP, I CAN CERTAINLY say non of you spammers will ever be able to create a program like RID and having loads of people saying there getting banned then complaining about its release date? try asking yourselves WOULD YOU RATHER GET BANNED? OR WAIT A WHILE, hes trying his best just wait another 2 days. Hmm, if this is the case, then we have missed an opportunity. Still, I do hear of times when infinity prices were way higher than they are now, and it being blamed on this bot.

edit: Looking at the graph for mages books on zybez, it looks like the 2.3Mish they were on was actually a very low and had slowly fallen from about 5M. Now looking at the grand exchange database (which has the more recent changes on it), the price downfall has been a definite turning point which makes it less likely that people are losing interest in fist of guthix and more the result of some change, such as the bot being taken off and people who aren't involved continuing to sell at normal prices.

I think in this instance the main delay was that jagex took his site down so he had to mess around with that for a while.

Anyway, while I would of course like some consistency, I understand that it's very difficult to predict how long things will take when you're doing it by yourself.

He wasn't saying that he want's robotz to hurry up, he was just saying that he wished that he would release on the date he said it should be done by, even if that meant setting a later release date in the beggining (ie, if it comes out on the 19th, he should've said that all along - not that its really possible).

 

TBH, I'm almost ready to give up on robotz, he actually hasn't done anything since late Feb.

no, people would want heavier armour, to protect themselves, and there aren't as many pures anymore... so that cuts down the infinity prices. so your theory is incorrect.

 

Hey, I hear some people are disappointed with the delays and I can understand the frustration. I just had to shift my entire website and databases etc, to a new host because of Jagex complaints about some pictures. Small delays come up a lot in software development, the dates are estimates but are never likely to be more than a week or two out at most. When it's finished I think people will be glad I went into so much detail with the changes, someone once said to me good code takes longer than you expect, and I think that is true.

 

yah i would rather wait a couple weeks for a forsure untraceable bot instead of rushing it and getting banned. take your time robot thanks for the updates.

every one needs to get off of robtoz nuts.jagex is giving him alot of shit right now. he is trying his best to get the bot done as fast as possible. every one just needs to easy up and take a chill pill. god!
