If you could give your younger self some advice ?

if you guys could go back in time and give your younger self some advice what would you say?

The aim of this thread is incase somebodys having a tough time and there unsure how to approach the situation maybe some of the advice posted here may help them.

Or maybe somebody browsing might just take a diffrent output on life.

If i could give myself some advice, Ide tell my self that.

You shouldnt waste time trying to impress people for popularity, just be yourself and your true friends will show. Try not to care what people think about your or youl constantly be trying to impress people that in the long run mean nothing.

 

- To be patient.
- Never let the opinions of others hold you back from your goals, even if its friends/family.
- Fight self limiting self beliefs

 

Don't spend your money from RuneScape on stupid shit, also she wasn't worth it.

 

Just don’t care about other people’s opinions of you are; only care about what you think of you. Pretty much what OP said.

 

Be courageous and do your best even if you're not certain it's what you want.

 

Keep all the party hats you find!

I'm not sure what i'd say, i'm very happy with how my life has turned out so far

I did waste a lot of time's in relationships while i were young 16-25

 

Don't prioritise gaming over friends, you idiot

 

Explore different fields to find a passion.

 

To take school more seriously. Look back it's honestly not a major effort to get good grades but now that I dropped out things are much harder.

 

Something i've always wondered about, is to go talk to someone on their death bed and ask, what's one thing you would go back and do. One regret. ;o

 

Don't try too hard to fit in.

Spending money on video games that went to waste, I took my parent's wealth for granted and spent every money that they gave me since I was 13 until around 17 to video games. I never even bothered to spend it on my necessities like clothing, etc., I have just realized how gaming addiction held my life back when I was around 18, sometimes I imagine what I could have been if I wasn't that addicted to video games and video games isn't bad, it's just that I wish I had more memories hanging out with friends and other real life things when I was younger.

Lmfao my whole life I’ve been in LTRs I know this feel too much. 15-18, then 18-20, 21-23, now in a relationship again from 24-26(will be 26 soon).

If I could go back in time to give my younger self some advice -

1) Don't be blinded by your love/emotions when it comes to women/relationships.
2) Focus on studying and less drinking/blacking out in college.
3) Pick your degree wisely. Take your time and do your research.

 

- Buy as many bitcoins as you can
- Don't spend all your time chasing that one girl, go get as many as you can get as long as they are a 6+
- Don't worry to much, everything will be fine in the end

 

It's too easy to give advice if we know what happen after...
