    Discoloured monitor?

My monitor has discoloration. I turned the screensaver off (I don't know why) and left for a couple hours. Then the browser got burned into the pixels. Also, there's other discoloring. Probably from when I moved, I think it got beat up. Any way to fix this?

    Discoloured monitor?

No, it's an LCD type. It must have gotten bashed when I was moving...

    Discoloured monitor?

I only know of this happening with Plasma TV's. It is possible that it is a ghost image and not a burned picture. A ghost image will fade with time as long as the pixes keep changing colors.

    And Try this...

    1. Create an all-white screen in a graphics application such as AppleWorks or Photoshop, and save it as a JPEG file.
    2. Use this as the image displayed by the screen saver.
    3. Turn the display brightness down (but not off) to preserve backlight bulb life.

If you have buttons on your monitor, go through the options available. You SHOULD have 'degauss' on there. Try using that.

    Discoloured monitor?

Thanks, but it says ghost image for LCD which is sort of confusing. Anyway that screen fixer should help better than the first comment "y00 ruind ur minter" :p

    Discoloured monitor?

Try getting a new one if you can afford one :). Or, just leave it off for a few days.

Ehh, I try to keep a black screensaver but fuckheads on other accounts keep changing it. And nah, I don't feel like another monitor.
