I agree everyone, rap has so much more meaning than rock, which was made to make a point.

 

Have you listened to all rap no you haven't. Some rap is about politics and other important things. Not all rock has meaning some is about just getting stoned and F***ed.

Rock, Classic Rock, Older Metal, Older Death Metal etc will always be my favorite genres. They will last the test of time - Look at Led Zeppelin, their music is around even today when they don't record any more.

 

OMG and Public Enemy, run DMC, sir mixalot, The Ramones, Rancid, Mozart, Sex pistols, ministry,. and All sorts of other bands still have there music played to this day. If it's music then it's going to last....besides Disco that kinda died out.

My hair is long. I like rap, rock, punk, techno, ska, industrial, and all other sorts of music. Rap isn't my favorite, but it is a music form and if you think it takes no skills then why don't you try to go out become a rapper. Bet you anything you couldn't even make a rhyme.
