Bitcoin Cash (BCH) IS skyrocketing

USD doesn't matter, we are comparing BTC to BCH because a fork means you get an equal amount of coins on each chain. Holders have a decision to make at the time of the fork, as I explained earlier:

BCH ended up being the minority chain, with only 20% of the value and hashrate of BTC at the time of the fork. Since then, it has LOST, not GAINED against BTC, even though it started so far behind!

 

Anyone can blindly throw money in crypto and increase their USD value. My goal is to back the best preforming one. Bitcoin is a good benchmark to compare performance. When comparing to BTC, BCash has had a great run since 2018/04/16, reaching ~.17 BTC. However, looking at Bcash's whole history, BCash is down from it's original .2 BTC value.

Lets say tomorrow BCH went to $2,300 while gaining in BTC ratio.

Why would you still support BCH. Some people are in it for the money, some are in it for the idea, and others on in crypto for both.

At some point you have to believe in the tech and I don't see why there is any reason to believe in BCH long term, and what's funny is people will say they will hold until its worth "$15k at the end of the year", but this market is so volatile and BCH can fall to zero tomorrow.

The hate between the BTC and BCH crowd has done nothing but hurt not only the market, but the mentality of the space. People are picking sides on this issue, Roger is literally saying "Babies are dying because blockstream has hijacked Bitcoin and wasted its time on Lightning Network".

I just want to point out that at the end of the day, the price doesn't matter unless the project is good, and so far, BCH has been around for less than a year and isn't even doing that well on price, hasn't done anything tech wise, has been listed on Coinbase which was a joke of a launch, and Roger's shilling and use of his Twitter, Bitcoin.com, and other outlets, like his debate with samson at deconomy has hurt the BCH image for the long run. I mean lets be honest, it literally holds 3/4 of its value do to having BTC in its name, Roger Pumps, and a community who for the most part doesn't support Bitcoin because they have this mentality that Roger has spread that says "Bitcoin isn't the real Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin, and if you support Bitcoin and not Bitcoin Cash, the true Bitcoin, then you are a baby killer and don't care about the people dying because of the time wasted with Bitcoin".

Any coin that uses this in its pitch, and any coin that has a community who thinks this way, is in my eyes, a terrible investment.


Of and BTW, Ecash and various other currencies just like BCH were 51% attacked as a joke and it instantly wiped it off the face of the earth.

Also, the main reason for BCh rise in price is 1. BTC rise in price , and 2. Major Mining farm burning the BCH, removing BCH from its supply, to increase the price of BCH, instead of letting BCH price rise organically...

I want an honest answer, why would you use BCH over LTC? Why use BCH over NANO? What about BCH > Zcash?

I know this is about its price rising, but I am honestly very curious on why you are bullish on BCH. Also, what do you think of rogers comments and use of Bitcoin.com and other various social media outlets? What about his debate with samson?

 

I didn't read your whole post, cba. But I read theh beginning, I support whatever makes me money I'm a trader. It could be BCH, BTC, ETH, XRP, etc. I'm a trader, so not too keen on getting into it all like tech and such at this point.

That is a good point I agree with you, however I am not a trader so my viewpoint on what should be "supported" (both in terms of supporting a community and support through money [or buying/holding]) is different then most day traders.

 

Sounds like something Axelrod would say. I think like this for my short term trades, but I do care about the projects for my long term holds.

I’m all for swing trades but I don’t day trade because I like to lower my risk as much as I can. I see day traders lose more often than not.

 

I trade whatever timeframe I find a play in.

I haven't locked anything. Also, most of my portfolio is not even my own money so I can wait for as long as I want

Crypto is a long term gambling, you can buy a little and then be prepared to wait ages till something amazing happens. If you can't do that - it is not for you.
