My opinion on RWTing

I have talked to Eric(market mod) about this on msn and i would like you tell sythe my opinion about RWTing and why so much people are banned.

NOTE--- THIS IS MY OPINION






99.9% of rwting bans are from either 1 or both of the rwters or a friend of the rwter watching the whole thing or a rwter multi logging.

(more of the gold seller reporting)


Why i say this?

Have you realized that you never get banned from transfering gold from account to account? even with duel arena and stuff liek that?
Have you realized that you get banned many times if you transfer gold from a gold seller to gold buyer?




You ask why would one of the rwters risk being banned....

This is simple... The gold seller usually has like 100 accounts with 1 major account he uses to transfer all the gold...

When he gets a customer he transfers the gold from the major account to one of his rwt accounts.

When the buyer and seller finish the trade one of them or their multi logged accounts or friends reports them.

The seller has nothing to lose if banned besides an account which was made for rwting.
However the buyer has much to lose if banned because he will lose all the gold he bought unless he transfers.

Reason they report is so if the buyer gets banend and they had the gold on the account than they would need more gold since they lost it. Which is where they go back to the seller since they had a successful trade before.


Basically a way to sell more gold.

I know this because my real life friend bought gold 2 times from 1 dude like back in november and he got banned both times.... but when he bought from me.... nothing happened....

Also i bought gold before and it happened to me(back when i merched gold and pins)... but i always transfer the gold to my actual account right after the trade is success.

Also 1 Major reason why people also get banend is they are just plain dumb and they say...... stuff related to rwt


Another reason why people are banned is because advertisers on runescape.

If there was no advertisers on runescape for their farmer sites or cheating/black market sites liek sythe or fagex than rwt would be little better.



so mainly the rwters screwed themselves over...... unless your one of those who dont report.... BUT MORE THAN HALF THE RWT REPORT TO GET MROE SALES OR TO JUST BE MEAN AND GET THEM BANNED

I think it's because Jagex has better ways of detecting this than other methods, like say previous drop trading. I know a lot of gold sellers, and I'm pretty sure none of them report the buyers just to get them banned and make them buy more gp. Regardless, BITCHES DON'T KNOW BOUT MY CONSPIRACY

i bought some and had him do the trade for me, and 2 days later i was banned wit 39m on my acc, but luckily my last chance appeal was successful, im sure it has somthing to do with them seeing the same ips logged in and in bh or a random nub reporting you for seeing you killing a red skull wit no armor and hes not fighthing bac lol

thats because no one reported you or anything...

its not like everything you rwt you get banned.....

if everyone got banend everytime we rwt than lol.... there would literally be like no one in the black market

 

I lost my 117 a couple of weeks ago, the seller was protecting me but 3 people came and tried to kill me they did'nt even get close to killing me and I left successfully but I guess they all reported me.

I'm pretty confident jagex CANNOT tell if you are rwting unless you get reported. I managed to rwt 70M the next week in bh with no witnesses and I haven't been banned.

Also if you're going to rwt make sure you do it on a different PC and IP so you can claimed you were hacked, most of the time they will unban you. Although I claimed to be hacked and my IP was different since I was on my laptop I guess they can also track which computer you were using at the time, alphanumeric ID's and stuff.

 

your ip on your laptop and your comp are close to identical which tells them that it is from 1 house.

even if you claim to getting hacked with different ip they dont give a fuck.

i used my friends comp to play once when i was at his house and he lives like 10 min away from me and i claimed to have gotten hacked but they said i was in control........

 

I was at my dad's house that day so my ip changed and so did my ISP (wireless internet+laptop) he also lives in another province so I guess that factors into it aswell. But I've had 3 accounts banned for rwt got 2 of them back.

 

this is because you probably used your laptop at your dads house often before which they assumed it was you

 

True that. I have xfered over 100m back in my day, and never once got in trouble for it. Now i dont know if security wasn't tight enough or not, but other people are not careful enough.

 

i have actually been banned from transferring from 1 account to another through BH. although, they did not say it was for RWT. they said they banned me for Password Scamming (rule3) and that i was transferring gold or something along those lines.

 

Wow...never thought of that now I'm scared to buy gold in case a Chinese farmer reports me...

 

i agree i use to xfer all the time when i use to PHISH ( fake runescape 3 )
and my account never got banned but people always use to complain on talkgeek.org ( runescape cheating website..dead.)

if u bought gold of a runescape gold website then its your fault jagex took away pking and trade limit!

 

You know what, this is really interesting especially for people who are first time buyers in the market of Real World Trading.

You say that the buyer has one main account and like a 100 other ones. If they report the seller, jagex can still track back to their main account with all their gold.

 

this is true but jagex doesnt do that.......

people say jagex ip bans but they dont.

i been banned many times for different reasons... mainly for every rule there and i never been ip banned.

jagex doesnt ip ban because your punishment is you worked hard on the account and payed for it(if member) and they ban it and you lose everything you had and wasted money on membership.

basically jagex wants the membership money which is why they dont ip ban you.

I totally disagree, i feel like this thread is like :"Careful RWT can bring you AIDS", the consipracy theory never worked.

Anyone buying gold, will be buying more and more and more (a lot of money sinks in RS : silly rares, stupid trimmed trinkets and "construction"), none will be ever fed up buying mils unless they have no more real coins.

 

why wouldnt they fed up?

spending hundreds of dollars on gold?

many people only buy like a certain amount of gold to start merching than after they raise enough they keep what they raised and sell rest or sell all or jsut plain old merch the mills.

like i said in my first post, because the gold buyer had a successful trade with the gold seller besides having account banned than the gold buyer would buy from seller again because the first trade went smooth.

just like how when i merched pins i had like 5 perm pin sellers and just like how my friend on here(not saying names) comes to me everytime he needs training because i trained his account before and did many trades with him without any hassel
