    Big Bang Theory

    Eh, incorrect - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_bang

Just read that before you post on this thread, or infact maybe the entire SFA forum - I'm not being rude, but thats not how we evolved etcetera, sorry.

In my opinion, the big bang is the best logical scientific answer us (humans) have as to how the universe exists.

This is true, but there are a number of mechanisms that replace variation, such a mutations and gene recombination.

    Big Bang Theory

scientist belive that the "Big Bang" is happening all over the universe also people think that "big Bang" created humans, So, if the "big bang" is happening every where, theres other humans,as far as im conserned Theres no proof that the "Big Bang" is happening every where, Because of the time the Human race walked the earth,There has been no sign of the"Big Bang" any where. So in my conclusion, The "BB" Only happend once and made earth...

...I belive that evolution created humans...once a ape then a human.
Thes proof of thats aswell, monkeys are the closest animal to the human body.

    as with
    I totaly agree.

    I agree 100% with this .

But I think ppl who say we were monkeys and things like this are crap .

There are fossils connecting us to monkeys, physical similarities, and genetic similarities.

Go take a look at the incredibly vast mountains of evidence for common ancestry.

    Big Bang Theory

I took a look and sorry but I don't believe most of it as I have Quraan and I knew it came from God . So I knew there is a God and in Quraan he said that he created the universe in 7 days and I believe him . There is things above our minds and here is the faith come . I have Quraan so I know there is a God . My faithful destroy things above my mind

As I said be4 , I don't say that Big Bang is bullshit . It might be there as any other science thing . Actually the more scientific things I know I be more sure there is a God . Btw , In Quraan ppl were ordered to go and discover and know more a bout science . This my point and this how I see things .

Then you deny the senses that God supposedly gave you. You render yourself irrational.

    Big Bang Theory

As I said God ordered us to look in the earth and discover how he created and did things. I said that when I use my scenes I find that he is there in everyplace and every scientific discovery prove to me that he is there no the opposite . I don't know how u see it the opposite anyway .

If you believe that God gave you your senses, and told you to use them and discover things, then you should do just that. There is plenty of evidence to support evolutionary theory. To deny it is to deny reason.

Sorry, wrong topic, but i post anyway. The big bang theory is just that, a theory. So why should we automatically accept it? Yes, it is very logical and very, very supported. But, i believe that without further evidence of the truth, i can not accept it to its fullest.

Everything that has to do with science is a theory.. Nothing can be proved or disproved, but we tend to follow what makes sense and what others believe.

    Me 2 .
If anyone say we were monkeys I will say its impossible and I can say no one can eva give a solid prove of that cuz I know that Our Father Is Adam the first human on the earth .
But If u r talking about the earth and big bang I might believe it cuz in Quraan there is nothing to deny it ( PS : I'm talking of my little knowledge as I 'm not specialist in Quraan and I'm talking about wat I know , Only wat I know and Quraan need ppl who r specialists more than me to talk about it )

    Big Bang Theory

    Hahah!

I love how religion is involved in everything. Alright,

    Sythe first:

Yes, we are losing genes constantly, but that doesn't mean we are going to de-evolve. In fact, we gain more chromosones than we lose!

Think of disease, illness, allergies developing, etc. Even though we don't want them, they are part of our genetic code. So really we do gain quite a bit, and lose a bit. All in all we won't revert to our primordial bacterial state. We will either progress rapidly, or die rapidly. De-evolution won't occur because new genes are always being introduced through exploration, understanding, culture, whatever. Even new foods can change your genetic code by a byte.

Richard, you might like: http://www.ted.com . It's a very funfilled place full of nice neat ideas! Many on genomics that I just fancy myself in.

    Anyways, onwards.

The universe is what we name for everything. There is no such thing as everything, because everything includes nothing. Wrap your mind around that and ask me later.

We do have similarities to apes, yes, and it is very possible to evolve from apes. Our DNA strings are so close, that in stem cell research it would be possible to change about 10,000 lines of code and you would be a monkey again. 10,000 seems like a lot, but think about the fact you're made up of billions. It's really not that much of a difference.

The quraan isn't solid evidence today, it's many years old, and new discoveries can disprove it. Yes, be strong in your belief, but don't try and say that the quraan is solid proof where science isn't.

Believe me, some journals are bigger than the quraan and make a hell of a lot more sense. Not to mention show actual progress.

Study into stem cell research, genomics, and such to learn more about evolution.

As to the big bang, the possibility of multiple universes is very easy to understand, yet the possibility of one infinite universe seems much harder.

If you think about it, there's many layers to everything, in any story, on any page, in any book... there's layers... Don't assume that we're the only universe because infinicy can span forever.

And Gravity can not hold an eternity, multiple gravity points can, but one will not do so.

Ok, if we have all sort of cleared out that most of us agree with BB, then how do you explain the mathmatical model of a Multiverse (1-4 levels).

    Big Bang Theory

I beleive that anything is possible. There is not a single hard fact that supports the theory of Religion, or of the Big Bang Theory. Although many Scientist's have made some amazing discovories in the past, they still have some work to do before I can beleive the Big Bang Theory :) .
