    In html... how do I...

I think I have finally made a correct User database, but now, how can I make it so people can upload pictures, videos, ect. It will autosection it, and go to where ever they make the name. Can it be done with FrontPage or DreamWeaver or do I have to type the code.

What I basicly need to do is make it so someone can upload a video, picture, ect, and fill out a simple form, and it will put it in that section, under that name, ect.

Help coding this out if I must will help.

HTML is a static content language , or, a 'Markup' language, used only to format the way things look. You can't create dynamic content with HTML.. If I understand what you re asking correctly then PHP would be an option.. I don't know the function to upload files of the top of my head though.

Edit : -Here- Is a cut and paste example if you are lazy and don't want to learn how it all works :)

Well, I've never actually handled upload forms, but I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult.

I'll do some reading.. From what I've heard though, having upload forms is very VERY dangerous to your website and must have plenty of ways to stop intruders from uploading malicious files.

I can easily make a form to upload to your database, delete from your database, and edit your database, but files are just a bit different.

I'm learning how to do text files, so while i'm doing that I'll look for info on the file uploads.
