SytheIRC Downtime + What's going on

Okay the short story is we are moving servers quite unexpectedly.

Everything should be up and running shortly if we don't run into any problems, and when everything is running we will provide you with an IP to connect to the server, and the irc.sythe.org DNS will be updated aswell, however that will take up to 24 hours, so keep a look for more updates.

Doesn't make sense to disallow a server for at least people to keep talking while you do this Shawn.

 

I removed it because the server is in no way connected with sythe.org, nor is it a supported temporary server by the current IRC management.

 

Damn, I should of read this earlier. I was trying to connect for like half an hour =(

So technically neither are affiliated?

And it wasn't supported, it was posted by one who wasn't even an official, just a place for peeps to go

We could all head over to NoixIRC for the time being. I'd have to check with Tak and Nihil first, though.

 

I require more irc.

 

When people say sythe.org != irc.sythe.org they mean that they are not run by the same people, they don't have the same rules or bans, etc. Not that they aren't affiliated.
