People will scam you because there is an opportunity to because you are going first. Using a MM should be easy for these types of trades since all you need is the MM's ETH address and the seller's ETH address. When you receive the Amz. code, MM can release the funds to seller. The issue is that OMM will not always be available and charge high fees and non-OMM can be risky to use . I can also help you MM if you'd like for a $5 fee per transaction.

I will use a middleman next time. My transactions are big because I'm looking for bulk suppliers who can do daily 1000$+ orders.
I have been getting a lot of middleman scams attempts as well. Other's trying to impersonate other middlemans.
But I guess scammers do exist here a lot prob because they live in some 3rd world country. I honestly don't see the value of scamming 10$ or a few hundred. It's a waste of time
