Not Good

I'm going to whine, I'm going to rant, not because i want to but because the way the forums are moderated is RIDICULOUSLY INCONSISTENT and someone needs to say something. Before I start I don't mean to offend anyone and I apologise in advance if anyone feels angry for anything mentioned in this thread.

Pay attention if you want to, i'm going to say my bit whether or not it has any use because right now I'm absolutely fuming at how FUCKING HARD it is for anyone legit with a lower post count to trade safely and without the headache.

Back seat moderating is not allowed right? Yet I've seen a person SPAM yes SPAM the black market forums with his copy and paste message for people to read the thread template guidelines. Thankyou for giving free bumps to the days old threads which didn't follow the thread creation template and for also pushing all the legit rule following threads down to the bottom of the forums. GJ!

When I report him for spamming at least 20+ threads does anything get done? I can understand moderators are probably busy, but from looking at the "report a spammer" forums they just randomely pick reports to deal with.
A lot of people seem biased towards the people with "high" post counts, FUCKING GET A CLUE, from the amount of recent series of scams which involved a good number of members with HIGH POST COUNTS.

 

Everyone has to gain their trust. I did too, and you'll have to.

You could report those posts.

Moderators do not get paid. They're not required to spend all their time doing work.

 

Pen, I do understand that, but browsing the report a scammer forums it does "appear" the reports which are dealt with are picked at random and not in any sort of chronological order.

With regards to that person who spammed up the black market forums, I've reported two of his spam posts, nothing as of yet has been done.

Again back to your point about moderators not getting paid, surely they were picked partly because they were active in the forums that they moderate? The spam was pretty obvious and it was left there for a good number of hours, maybe it is time to recruit a few more moderators for the market place forums?

Anyway just a suggestion.

 

Shredder and I are the only two that do the scam reports. I just do whatever is on top, and I think Shredder does the same.

It's the middle of the school year. Activity usually picks up in the summer. Promotions occur when the staff thinks someone deserves it.
