Yeah, i would - i mean you would save thousands of times that number of people, and anyway if you had a choice you could just kill the ones that were almost dead from aids anyway.

Then again thats a few million extra people in the world each year and thatll make overpopulation a bigger problem... in 10 years your looking at an extra 20-30 million people - thats the population of a small country.

No I wouldnt. My reasoning is sound and i've thought about it. These types of questions are stupid. Heres a question thats slightly more interesting: Youre all willing to kill 1000 people but are you willing to kill youreself in order to cure aids? Im not.

 

That actually sums up how I believe.

I don't think anyone should be able to decide if people die in order to cure a disease, but if there was a choice (people being used for research or something), I would hope 1000 people would be able to step up so other people didn't have to suffer.

I would submit my body to experiments or whatever the solution was to cure aids.
