Locked Account... Whats Does This Mean??!

hey guys, ok i logged on today to find my account had been locked for some reason. i went through all the necessary stuff like recoveries, passwords etc and like 12 hours later it still is pending.... has this ever happened to any1 else before and does any1 know how long it takes to get my account back? this is my main and i havent done anything i shouldnt on it so really dont know why this has happened........

Did you not read what it said? It could up to 3 days and they do this when they think the accounts been stolen or when they think someone else knows the password. You just need to prove that it's your account.

 

ok thanks, so does this mean some1 else has tried changing the pass on my account then?? to be honest i bought it off here like a year ago now and alls been ok with it... what should i do???

This happened to me after I got keylogged. Basically I'm guessing it's if you loggin your account from a lot of different locations they will "suspect" that it's been hacked and lock it.

To unlock it easily, just send the recovery Questions and Answers.

If you can't, or if they have been changed (like mine were), then you have to send all sorts of details like previous passwords, credit card information etc.... Basically stuff to prove you're the owner of the account.

It shouldn't take too long for them to reply, just a matter of hours maybe. Be sure to check it often and good luck on getting the account back.

 

How long has it been since you submitted the recovery request?

Jagex doesn't think the account is yours and you have to prove it's yours.

 

Was the account name by any chance gregor_2002. Because I bought it back in apri 2007.l 5 months later the guy recoveres it. So i just felt like trying to get it back recently. Its locked atm.

 

I keep seeing this gregor_2002 name on every thread I look at!! Who is this person??

 

someone else that has yur pw locked it in an attempt to steal it
