Help with my client plz...

Hello,

I am new here and I hope this is in the right place, anyway, I'm building my own client like EliteSwitch and (Ewww) SwiftSwitch. Its very basic because I'm still teaching myself C#. The problem I am having is trying to figure out how to get the game to display in my WebBrowser control the way EliteSwitch does it. I know I will end up having to link every world to a button/drop down list and use that to go to that world but I cant figure out what URL to use... Right now my client is in its extreamly early childhood (I havent even finished designing the UI) I just want to get the basics of linking my client to runescape down...

Any help would be great!

Im not sure if this is the link that he uses but if you highlight over the world in Internet Explorer you can see teh link for that world on teh bottom of the page..

 

Yes I tried that link (http://~WorldIdentifier~.runescape.com/l1,p0,j1) and all that does is throw me back to the main page...

Thats because it auto redirects you to stop clients. To fix this, you have to say something like


if currentpage == runescape.com then stop loading

EDIT: i dont know c# so dont ask me how todo this

 

Bobgod I am not sure how to do this atm but I am doing the exact same thing as you. I have done a ton of tutorials and now am trying to teach myself the same thing. if you want hit me up on msn.

 

Yes i could not find the fourms for my question but i am having trouble with sliab client i usally use the website for client, today i could not get on it much when i did i disconnected a whole bunch of times when i go on the website says error with page, it cannot be internet cause i can get on all other sites in a blink of a eye. then my friend suggest to download the client, i did and when i ran it a window popped up saying a strange problem has occured what do i do? please email me at [email protected] i wont be able to find this fourms again lol. any admins or mods that think they can help me with this probelm please do! thankz
