Robotz will ask you to give him your account and password so he can check then if he is satisfied i think he will give you more hours.

One theory is Jagex have been monitering all accounts in the MTA, selecting those whose activity fits within the basic pattern (since there is no exact pattern) created by the bot, then activiting a 'check' (perhaps manually) on the account which will for the following 10-20 seconds poll mouse position extremely quickly (upwards of 100 times per second), which could identify it reasonably accurately. This is quite an extreme measure because it would cause a short period of very heavy lag to any player who was 'checked' but would be a good tactic and would almost certainly identify the bot.
That's one theory, but if that's what they were doing they won't be able to do that in the next version, because the mouse position will be interpolated between each step in it's movement so no matter how close they put the microscope they won't find any 'steps'.
Still working on a few other updates too.

robtoz when updating the mta i recommend you making the mouse movements more complex and also the bots auto talker act more human and some times joke around. just some ideas to help you out. good luck :D

Hmm, that sounds like a lot of work for Jagex to be doing? But that is a good theory...

Jesus christ man, edit your posts...you double post way too much.

EDIT: why would you say you bot, rwt, cheat in anyway ingame anyway? TO a friend or not that is just dumb. Im sure jagex has censors to detect when things like that are said then they read the history.

Great, that means they aren't monitoring me!

Although I've only used about 30 hours of this bot I must've been quite careful.

Also, it's things like this which make me stress even more not to use the same name on Runescape as here, and never to mention it here, since they are likely reading this and can try things to catch people they already suspect.

My condolences to those who lost their accounts :(

A possibility for how Jagex are tracing the MTA is what I heard Blizzard do for World Of Warcraft, they can see the processes running on the computers used playing on the games, so possibly Jagex have done the same thing, so the Jagex Mods are finding people with javaw.exe in their processes at the mage arena and banning them. It's just a possibility I may be horribly wrong but it may be a option to change the process name to 'iTunes.exe' or something that's used alot, if it's possible.

I suggested that before, and robotz denied it.

    However, you never know...

    Wow.

Thats all I can really say, quite a strange sequence of events that have happened lately. The bot is really being stripped by jagex, If we only knew the source of the problem we could then come up with a solution, it really is painful though to not be able to do anything. Is there hope for us John?

ok, guys i did some research and i found out some thing about how jagex detects macros. my not be right, but it is worth shoot. first is that jagex has spy ware that can motoring what you are doing. i don't know if this is real, also jagex check your in game active and compare to a real person who does not macro. i am still serching the web to try to help out robtoz. :)

They know where we are from, so if we play 16 hours a day, and are 13-17, they can guess that we should be in school, and that we most likely are botting,

Well javaw.exe is not definitively the MTA bot, it could be any jar file application.

I always thought they could get the process list, this was why scar pretended to be mplayer.

You should run runescape unsigned so that they do not have te ability to see outside of the runescape sandbox.

Delete the .jar file as well.

I would stop using the bot for a bit. Jagex is obviously actively monitoring this and it is publicly known to be a bot problem on several forums that I read. Also they might have changed the MTA since I hear complaints about the enchant arena. It is not giving out basic points? I dunno.

I am close enough to 99 that I can just go cold turkey...

I mean delete the .runescape.dat file wherever it is. Not the jar file. That would be annoying.

Blizzard are able to do this by having players install a warden program on their system that reads various system information at runtime, but RuneScape is run as a Java applet, there is no way to get information on process Id's using Java alone, and probably won't be for a while, but even if Java ever updates to include this capability, "javaw.exe" wouldn't count as evidence you were botting.

strpker - don't worry bout it you won't find any info on Jagex's detection systems online, it's cool and I don't think it will be required since the goal is to simulate human activity not beat detection systems. The two go hand in hand, and of course is possible USA as the sig suggests.
