My point is, Metalcore and Nu-Metal is fusion-genres to make the music more appealable to the mainstream. The whole point of the genre was to make it popular, make everyone like it by adding pop-elements into it.

Whilst i can agree he growls pretty good, the screamo and harmonic singing is horrible. The lack of technical playing this kind of music makes it bad as well.

Music is about virtuosity, not making money.

The vocals don't posess much of a melody at all.
The way I see it, that disqualifies it from being defined as music. I may be reading it wrong, though.

Yes, it is music, but it doesn't take much talent to do that. I used to like that type of stuff, now I just listen to alternative Metal and Alternative Rock.

You see, this kind of crap is popular thesedays. However, the only "trend"-genres right now are Nu-Metal and Metalcore. I'm sure many will come, and many will die.

NOTHING is more unoriginal than Metalcore. All the fucking bands sound almost the same. The sooner people realize this, the sooner they can get a decent music taste.

 

Uhm, its music, just ignore the singing, the guitar shit and the drums are good same with the bass just ignore the singing, or, screaming...

I prefer the sort of music without those drums and preferably more melodic guitar.
