    Yes. I am going to work in the summer to get myself a new laptop. The computer I'm on is a family computer, and it's a pain for obvious reasons.

    Anyways, is there a good laptop that works well, and is cheap?

    For example, these are the specs desired:

    Price range: Will edit later
    * Any kind of processor
    * 500+ MB RAM
    * 40+ GB Hard Drive
    * Possibly a wireless network - 802.11g
    * Any notebook on sale is never bad ;)

    Dont buy dell..

    Buy something else if you can, even though Dells are cheap.

    Usually cheap = shitty.

    If you're in America, don't use Amazon (lolnewb) use Newegg.com. It is much better.

    Just browse the laptops, chose a few specs you want and then order by rating, meaning you'll get the best value, as has been rated by multiple people using the laptop over differing periods of time.
