that's a common misconception. Research has shown that just because you have gay parents doesn't encourage your children to be gay a whole lot much. It depends on your genetics. Adoption does not involve.

Why does everything have to be supported by religion? Not all religions are correct, who knows if any of them are "the true way" and they are all simply made up? Just because of the holy books?

...I don't know what to say to this. There are some people who consider hanging out with gay people is the best, and those people never turned gay. And how is that hanging around with tall people makes you tall? I'm short for my age, and I hang out with taller people every day. I don't see myself growing to their height.

...I don't think just because people see lesbians kissing each other on the street won't entice them to go back to their house to "get to know" their dog better.

Just because something is not in the norm, does that make it unnatural and abnormal? That sounds pretty offensive....

The maker of this thread is not seriously advocating against polyester, birth control, etc. He's mocking some commonly used arguments against same-sex marriage.

 

I didn't bother to read that whole essay the first person conformed but this is my opinion on the matter.

Being homosexual is WRONG. Because you cannot have sexual intercourse with the same gender and produce a child, which, morally is why there is sex, to reproduce.

There is infact something wrong with being straight in the same area. It is also wrong to marry someone of the opposite sex, and never have intercourse.

 

Producing children is the biological function of sex, not the moral one.

So, is having sex without the intention to get pregnant morally wrong?

How is that morally wrong? You don't marry somebody to procreate, you marry them because you love them, and want to live your life with them.

Well, another thing I want to say that I didn't, I think people should marry whoever they wish to marry, gay or straight. If you love someone and know you can spend the rest of your life with that person, marry him/her. Just because homosexuality goes against your beliefs, doesn't mean it's wrong in the world.
