2 months to be paid back should be 1

on this thread Have you been scammed and want to be paid back? you have to wait 2 months before being on this list incase the scammer wishes to pay back, but if they don't dispute a ban in under a month they have to pardon. the length of them disputing a ban should be the same for being put on the list to be paid back

Makes sense to follow the pardon system here, so long as the other requirements remain I think this would be a good change.

 

Gun already takes longer than 2 months to pay, support itll just expedite his next dnt

Do you know the odds of actually getting repayment?

Right now there's 90 users waiting for repayment - Lets use the # 100 to make it easy.

You have a 1/100 chance(1%) of getting rolled on a percentile dice, now lets assume that the community repayment fund only has $50 when the roll happens and ur owed $300, that means you have a 1% chance to be repaid 1/6th(16.6%) of the total value ur owed.

So best case scenario is you have a 1% chance of getting repaid 100% of the value owed, worst case scenario could be you have a 1% chance of getting 10% of what your owed.

The odds of you ever getting repaid the full value listed are so unlikely you literally could be on that list for 10 years and never get a dime.

I support this regardless but I wouldn't expect to ever get any money back even if your on that list, the odds are NOT ever in your favor.

 

Along with this, I suppose I will support, but I like the 2 months, you have 1 month after pardoning (from what I understand) to repay, or it doesn't go anywhere. So hypothetically, a scammer has 2 months to repay, making the repayment period of 2 months logical, should someone repay in the first place.

 

Pretty sure the money is held by an admin (@video ?) until it meets a certain threshold and then is rolled when it meets said threshold.

 

The 2 month requirement for community repayment eligibility doesn't have anything to do with the dispute/pardon system, it acts as a deterrent to people faking scams in order to become eligible for repayment.
