apple ipod worth it or not??

so i am thinking about buying an apple ipod. but idn if i really should. i get my license in a month and need to spend 350 on driving classes (state law) then the rest on my car. i have around 1,000 in the bank. but i work and get around 75 a week (don't work to much). if i buy one i would buy the 20gb,30gb,40gb or maybe a zune. should i and r they worth it.

I don't think they are worth it, since there are phones out there now that do the same thing as an Ipod... just spend the money on a head unit for your car, Cost just the same and its a lot better. Get a Head unit with a monitor, thats what I'm getting soon, if not, if you have a compact disc (cass.) player in your car, just get a normal MP3 player or CD player and get the adapter... This is what I use right now until i get the head unit... I got a 16g Touch and I think it's pretty awesome. Mostly because you can just like have a never ending you tube source in your pocket. I thin it's worth it, but if you only have 1,000 to spare, I would aim towards something less flashy. I've heard good things from Zune, so i would suggest heading that direction.

 

Get a Zune, they are the same price and have a lot more features.

 

Yes i think i will personally buy a zune next time i get some money..

Btw, what the fuck is 300$ for driving class's...?

Not worth it, many other mp3's/mp4's and others make good models, i have an mp4 myself, pretty much pownage.

 

iPods are crap and a waste of money.
Zune is your best option atm.

 

ipods aren't worth the amount of money apple makes you pay, but then again, i don't think ANY Mp3 player should be worth over $100. I still bought two nanos though, so meh.

 

Depends if you want one for the hype or not. People I know buy MP4 players just to be in with the "cool" kids, which in my opinion is a very sad way of living. Personally, I think if you'll actually use it a lot, and listen to music a lot, then go ahead. However, if you don't, then don't bother buying.

 

yeah it depends on how much you will actually use it. id go with the ipod if i was to get one. i dont have one because id never use it. if at home i have the computer for music, my car i got a headunit, finished school so yeah. also if you dont have heaps of music then a cheap 4 gig or whatever would do

 

tbh if you only have 1000$ in the bank and you have to pay for driving classes and a car. did you forgot about insurance and registration and gas..dont waste 250$ to buy an ipod at this time.thats just my opinion but do what you want

Ipods are currently a fad, that may pass over anytime soon. Although their are many different MP3 and MP4 players that are just as good, they are less likely to get noticed. If you'r looking to save money, then i'd go for something thats less expensive, but has the same options as the IPOD does, for example a CREATIVE mp3 player.

 

I have a zune, and it's much better then An Ipod, Ipods are really over rated and just cost that much because of the brand name, Apple Ipods will die out just like the Apple computer, Even though it's coming back.

If you are low on money and have low morals, I suggest on stealing An ipod, the best place to jack one would be at a Train station/bus station/school/or a subway terminal. There could be other places too.

Please tell me your joking. Stealing an IPOD is the most stupid thing you could do. How would you feel if I just randomly snatched your 'ZUNE.' If your low on cash dont listen to this idiot, but buy a cheaper mp3 player.

 

I would suggest getting a Zune. The Zune has a larger screen, it can play the radio, its music volume is actually louder than that of the ipod's, its a 80 GB for 50$ more than the 2 GB. A Zune is also more simpler to use for importing music. For iTunes, you have to convert your songs and import them. For a Zune, everytime you download a new song, just drag and drop your music file into the Zune program.

But honestly, MP3/MP4 players are massive wastes of money. MASSIVE wastes.
