Bank Transfer Safe or NOT ? [ ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED ]

hello guys and welcome to my thread,

im here to ask for advice how to deal with the following case.

Im currently selling my ironman account and many people are offering me to pay me
via Bank Transfer. Surely its a way for me to recieve money although im not sure, if bank
transfer is the way to go ? I never gave my IBAN/BIC to "random strangers" and now im
not sure if I should accept bank transfer at all ? Would you guys say bank transfer is safe
or do you say its risky af and i could get in serious trouble since someone could fk up my real life?

You don't need an IBAN/BIC for domestic transfers IIRC - those two are for international transfers.

In general, bank transfers are totally fine. Yes, you give out a few more details compared to the likes of PP/Crypto, as such, the anonymity factor is a bit less.

Personally, I've been using bank transfer for nearly a decade, and I've never once had an issue. However, the downside is most international transfers have a fee associated, and also may take up to 1 week (all varies from bank to bank). In saying that, there are work arounds to avoid fees and what not, but it won't be possible if you're just using it as a one-off, and for a small $ trade.

Just to note, most of what I've said above is more so relevant to Australian regulations. However, I've dealt with banks overseas (US and Europe mainly), and the aforementioned fees/time-frames have all been consistent.
