Require certain fonts to be used for discord names/names

Not sure if this is a thing already but Searchy is using a font that uses all capital letters, the capitalized letters are only slightly larger. This is confusing and is getting people scammed by his imposters? (hopefully anyways) Think we should require or ban certain fonts like this just for discord names or in places where a capitalized letter matters. Just saw this in the discord and I could see plenty of people making this mistake. OR it being abused to scam people and claim it isn't actually you.

EDIT: as for the punishment I don't know I think the ad or sig should just be removed and a warning sent, a DNT for repeat offenders. ONLY because this can be used to scam people.

At what point does Staff stop babying the community? This is a joke.

Learn to properly trade like we had to, some of us suffered twc's, bans, thousands of dollars in losses, over not sending proper PM's or not trading properly, Staff babysit this community now and the fact this suggestion was ever made is a running joke for the past poor trading punishments.

Did you really just call it babying? People like you stop the community from growing, protecting newer more ignorant users is a positive thing that will increase trade and decrease scams. The font is in all CAPS and its causing issues.


I've only seen you support efficiency/aesthetic changes to gold selling threads, your "no support" doesn't matter.

Support, people should be held liable if they use discord to trade and their own poor trading practices cause people to be scammed.

I do think everyone needs to make capitalization VERY clear with all the impostors abusing it nowadays.

already been working on my J as it is slightly lower so some may see it as lowercase

 

Don't be stupid and use a legible font, have graphics artists be fully aware that they can't use all uppercase, or font that looks to be only uppercase. People in general as @Divine said, should ALWAYS ASK FOR A GOD DAMN PM, it isn't even hard for christ sake. But ya, I support it being a requirement that people not be dumb, if not followed, banhammer.
