So with the price of GPUs skyrocketing and me really not wanting to hastle with building my own pc, i'm currently looking for where to buy the best rig i can for 2k.

I don't care about RGB, i don't need anything but the tower, i just want the best performance for 2k.

If you’re looking for intel, get a pc with a 8700k, at least a 1070/1070ti/1080/1080ti. Call them to find out the brand of the gpu and mobo, and google it for reviews. Even better: get a list of the parts with the model numbers etc and post it so you can check the parts and have us check it over ;)
Especially the gpu, don’t get a mini one and look for ports. Future proofing means getting at least 1 usb 3.1 type c port
Look for at least a 250+ gb Ssd, hdd optional.

The cooling. You don't want a modern gaming pc with a bad cooling gpu that's going to run at thermal throttle speeds.

Maybe try Digital Storm or iBUYPOWER? Maingear is another good one, but they're pricey though. As Cas mentioned though, get yourself a decent i7 like the 8700K and a GTX 1070 and you'll be rocking.

GPU pricing is getting more expensive, but the best thing part nowadays are GPU's are also getting better performance for the price you're paying. No more paying $500 for a low end GPU which can barely handle 1080p gaming. 1070 is very good for the dollar to performance ratio.

I'm not sure if you guys have Newegg still in the US but if you do, you could probably check there. But IMHO I would build the system yourself, would save you a little and you get the kick out of doing it yourself. :)

I would browse around for sales and ask others if the value is good. Often times manufacturers keep the price of the GPU down and you can get a great deal! You could also look on reddit hardware swap for a completely built system.
