JMacro: Full Tutorial​

Background: JMacro is a 100% minimizable RuneScape bot created by Speedster239. The bot itself includes many scripts such as; flax picking, eye of newt purchaser, and auto miner(s). The bot is highly undetectable and the only bans which have occurred have been 2 days for first offense. I used to use the bot in it's earlier stages and from time to time ran them for 10 hours at a time. Overall it was a very reliable bot, even back 2 months ago. It's also updated on almost a weekly basis, cordially with RuneScape updates.

The Basics: There are a few basic things which you will need to be able to run JMacro. You will need to download the Java Development Kit at the following link: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp. You will want to download the "JDK 6 Update 5", it should be the first download option. I recommend registering, it only takes 30 seconds, and you can download any Java online installation when updates come. After registering you should download the online installation, but if you don't want to register you can upload the file onto rapidshare. Keep in mind if you Linux or Mac you will need to register. Once you have this downloaded you should have everything you need to run the JMacro bot.

Downloading The File: You are going to click a link like the one posted below once you get inside the JMacro download thread. The link will look like this:

Now you should get a download pop-up in the bottom left corner of your screen, and you should check the option "save to disk". Once that's done downloading, your going to want to click the "open" option. Now inside of the files tool bar there should there should be an "extract all files" option. The following boxed off option will be the only things you will need to worry about:



Getting Scripts: This is probably the most complicated procedure out of the whole process. There are scripts which are already inside of JMacro which you can use. You don't need to do anything to them but type in the name of the script which is in the scripts folder and then click begin and it will run that script as long as you are in the correct area. JMacro has specific scripts, that can be found inside of the scripts folder in JMacro. Now if you want a script which is not incorporated you will need to visit CheatScene and check out the scripts section. I'm going to use the "Auto High Alcher V2", as an example. Now there is an embedded code in the page, this is the script itself. Now copy and paste the entire script, and open up a plain old notepad. Paste the script inside the notepad and then search through the script for something that says "Public Class"m and directly after it should come the name of the script. Your going to want to save the script as that name, in this case it's High Alcher.java. It looks something like this:



After that it should appear in your JMacro scripts folder. You will also need to unzip the images folder which the script created should have added, if one posted, into the images folder inside of the JMacro folder. Now you should be ready to run some new scripts, but not quite yet .

Compiling Scripts: Open up your JMacro folder and there should be an option "Compile JDK 4", click it. A small black box should pop up and when it's done you should press any button to continue. After this go into the scripts folder and there should be a ".class" file for the same ".java".



Running JMacro: Now go inside your JMacro folder and click the "Run JMacro" option. Enter the world number which you wish to join. Now you should enter your username and password, so it can log you in and log you back in if it lags out. Stand in the correct spot for your script. Type in your script name in the desired box as shown below, and have fun cheating!
There are many scripts which you can choose from and earn mass amounts of money in the process of growing levels.

Yeah thanks for that, I just had to save them as .jpg's because I wanted to get this one done, and it takes time to scroll down. Your right though, they are a bit blurry around the text, but at least they are still legible. The content of the guide is the main thing that counts to me. Thanks ImAFool.

How do you know which area to go to for scripts?

 

Ahh, the man himself. Thanks Speedster239, I wanted to make sure it was informative and precise so it'd be quite easy to follow. Also down downgrade yourself, this was no little project of yours, the amount of work you put into it is beyond me.

And as for you, Eating, scripts can be found at CheatScene in the approved scripts section, there are some superb scripts.

It's not a RuneScape guide. It's a macroing guide actually. Also he has already seen this i'm almost positive. Aside from that, it's teaching members how to use the JMacro client. But I see where your coming from, you're right, but it's not really RS, it's a decent quality guide in my eyes, which helps people. Isn't that what UE is all about?

 

Is JMacro used for anything not related to RS? No. Therefore it is a Runescape/Runescape Cheating related guide and should be either in the Runescape Guides section or the Runescape Cheating section.

 

It fits under miscellaneous education, Eric says "RuneScape guides", not RuneScape related guides. This guide just teaches you how to use the macro and how to get scripts. I guess both of us are right, but theres no point in arguing it's already posted.

Yeah, it should help you whenever you want to follow certain macros and how to work this specific one. JMacro can be very simple, but for some people, can be very hard.

It should work nicely if you follow the guide step by step and carefully read everything.

Why does it say Jmacro is dead?

 

I assume Speedster cannot produce it anymore, but i'm almost positive some of the older updated ones work nicely...try the latest update.

 

I'm downloading the 2nd most recent one, should be good.

Btw they got a new bot "cosmo bot" coming out soon =D[2weeks]
