    Since I've basically stopped working on the desktop version of XCLIENT, I've created a web based version of XCLIENT available online!

    XCLIENT Express

    High Score Lookup **Added 4/15/08
    (More coming soon...)

    System Requirements:
    XCLIENT Express should work in any browser that supports JavaScript.
    I recommend Firefox 2.0+.

    So, check it out if you want! It's only in a semi-beta stage right now but I'm constantly working on it adding new features. Suggestions and bug reports can be made at http://express.xclient.net/bugs/

    Great idea. A webhosted client should be nice and I'll probably check it out soon.

    If there's a way to add an irc, that'd be awesome.

    Well, it's not for autoing or anything like that. The idea is it lets you play RuneScape naturally on the RuneScape website but adds tools for you to use like calculators and various other things.

    I'm hoping people like it and have thought about adding an IRC in the future.

    Great, an irc would def make it worthwhile. The cheating features on the clients like eliteswitch don't do all that much. Maybe they can auto alch but that's about it. Although, the world hops into 18 etc. are nice.

    I might be able to add world hoping but I can't guarantee that one. The way RuneScape's website is set up and the scripts they use make it very difficult to load worlds directly, but I'll give it a shot!

    I don't thing there will ever be any autoing tools in XCLIENT Express.... First because it's hard to do with something web-based and second I don't want XCLIENT Express to break any RuneScape rules.

    As for a high score lookup, I'm sure this will be one of the next things I add.

    can you add profile and click any one to log in like heroes online? so like a list of profil you owned then like safe link with it and absed it on ? i dont think any other programs have this but it will be cool if you will beable to do it but it will take long time to sort out the java scripts etc btw nice programe (its just an idea) plus can you have a fun orb one on side of runescape?

    I don't really think I'm going to integrate any other games other than RuneScape. The point of XCLIENT Express and how it's designed is to be a web-based RuneScape client, not a game center for multiple games.

    I like how you integrated XCLIENT express into a web based app, this is a clever idea. But i wanna know what happened the the original XCLIENT... and where i might be able to download it and try it out..

    I would also like to know if you would be willing to release any of your source code as well...

    XCLIENT can still be downloaded from http://xclient.net . I don't know how well it will work anymore, as I haven't updated it in a while, but you can try it.

    And I'm not releasing source code yet. I may someday but not now.
