My Go Kart

I dont really know if the frame was made from scratch, I bought it at a yard sale. It was in really bad condition. I sanded it, primed it, painted it, and added a footplate. I also bought new bolts & nuts.

 

lmao thats so ghetto. But its pretty cool.. My brother and I once built a go-kart out of stirofoam I think thats how its spelt. But we were real little and well as u can kinda guess the motor heated up and the go-kart melted away lol.. But hey looks like ur doing a good job. But that is still ghetto as hell or redneck is actually the word I'm looking for lol

 

Lol I'm FAR from redneck. Just because i don't have $800-$1500 for a really good kart does not mean I'm redneck. It is actually a normal kart?

And it it spelled styrofoam.

 

How fast does it go?

 

I still need some parts before its finished.

Thanks i have worked on it alot since i first got it. It turned out better then i had expected.

 

What kind of Speed MPH is it going to be able to run? and are you going to use multiple gears, + reverse?

 

One gear,and no reverse no need for reverse it weights like 40 lbs
