Pre-EOC'er returning to RS3 Log

Hey all.

I've decided to return to RS3 after Jagex made it very hard for me to enjoy Oldschool anymore. So far I'm enjoying my stay in the game. There's alot I have to learn about RS3 right now, the last time I actually played was in june 2012. Since then a lot as changed. It's a bit overwhelming but fun at the same time.

I'll be keeping a log here for myself to see what I've done, and for anyone to read in the progress. My goal currently is to accumulate as many 99's as possible. For now this log is rather small but I will be updating the start post with anything that comes to mind.



Here's my account as of the 8th of June 2017, as you can see my bank is rather small; maybe about 30M max. Currently training for 99 Firemaking, already did about 4M exp.

 

What about OSRS made you quit and switch to RS3?

 

Do you find it way too easy?

 

I think by you learning new things about RS3 it'll help you enjoy the game a bit more.

 

Have come you have not updated it in a while?

 

My ironman unfortunately got falsely banned for botting. I really enjoyed playing the account, but didn't feel like starting over on the same exact game (OldSchool). That's why I decided to give RS3 a go.

So far, no. Things have become a lot easier since I last played the game. However most of the changes I have noticed so far only improved the quality of playing. I still think achieving levels takes an appropriate amount of time, it all just feels less grindy which I like.



Have made quit some progress the last couple of weeks, even though I was busy with work and social life. The improved rate of progress is one of the things I now like about RS3

Are you liking it so far? Many of my friends play RS3 and they say they prefer it over oldschool
