The biggest problem with this work is that it isn't a signature. This is a photo-manipulation, with a layer placed over it and a gradient applied. You've duplicated the layer a few times and applied a linear burn to it, but there's nothing else that can be said about the work. Learn to create a point of focus in the image either by manipulating the light in the right direction, or changing the level of blur, for depth. Without a focus, there is no point to your work, and whereby makes your signature feel very flat.

Duped the layer once, added some brushes aswell. Well, A brush.

You didn't really do much. Just a dup here, a brush there and a few adjustments. There is no focal, no lighting. Read a few tutorials, they can do wonders.

 

over contrasted. photo manipulation. duplicated layers setted to overlay / darken. one piece of c4d. that's it. I can do that in under 2 mins.
