    Wow ... OP (mod or not, I don't care) probably thinks he's cool for having a needlessly fast internet connection. I last well on 1500/256, and it doesn't matter to me. The only connection speed that I hate is dialup.

    Lol i've only had broadband (256/64) for about a year, before that i was a dial up user :p. And the last 3 months i've had 1500/256...soooo much better.

    Of course my connection goes to a router, which goes to another router, which goes to another router, all of which are connected to shit. So if i unplugged id probs go alot faster lol

    Internet speed is set according to what plan you have and how much you pay your ISP. Assuming your hardware can handle high speeds, of course.

    Most of you probably don't even need more than 512k, so I'm wondering why you want it.
