    Question for Atheists

I actually gave what I consider to be a fairly good reason - he could be of use in the future.

    Question for Atheists

I'm an atheist, but I'm still spiritual. I believe in doing good to others, treating people equally to you. atheist don't see other people as walking meat.

I would even say that more atheist's are nicer then religious people. we don't try to convert people, we don't start wars over our belief's. How many people have been killed because of wars based on religion?

The only thing good about religion is to try and install some good values onto people. tho you can take these values without being a god follower.

In the end its about being a good person, not what you believe in

    Question for Atheists

If there was a "god", why would there be anything bad in the world? Why would we need to question his existance?

    Question for Atheists

So no ghost? So do they believe we die, become one with the earth, then sprout as trees?

    Question for Atheists

We become one with the Earth not in a spiritual sense, but a physical sense. Our bodies literally decay, and our nutrients are utilized by various organisms.

    Question for Atheists

So what is the purpose of life? Did we happen to get to Earth by evolving from animals? Scientist theories are in the same boat about believing in god. They are just coming up with what they believe, sounds like the bible to me.

    Question for Atheists

Are you comparing guesses about the world made by a bunch of goat herders while sitting in their tents with the vast body of evidence to support the theory of evolution? I really hope not.

    Question for Atheists

I'm just saying, Scientist make all theorys using big words, but just because they "give proof" doesn't mean it's true. Its the same as god. Just because no evidence is present doesn't mean it isn't true.

    Question for Atheists

Ignorance of scientific language is no excuse to shove it under the same category as evolution. In the real world, theories with as much evidence to support them as evolution tend to be true. In the real world, dummy hypothesis's (God) with absolutely no evidence to support them tend not to be true.

    Question for Atheists

What if the evidence was at the bottem of the ocean. Scientist would never know because scientist have never been that far. The evidence may have not been found but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

    Question for Atheists

Sure, there could be evidence of God's existence at the bottom of the ocean. Until we find it, however, we are forced to treat it with the same amount of consideration that we give to Santa Clause.

    Question for Atheists

Being religous isn't about evidence being present, it's about the faith you have. Faith isn't based on evidence, it's based on what you believe with out evidence being present.

And that, my good man, is what is called "irrational". It is also being faithful about God, and no other being, for no clear-cut reason.

    Question for Atheists

Shredder, each person has their own 'evidence.' There is no dvd anywhere in the world showing God in person doing miracles, but each person sees the world as either God's doing or something else. I might not be able to prove to you that God is real, but I certainly believe it myself.

    Question for Atheists

What we use as evidence is the bible. You may sit there and say the bible was written by some sheep hearders thousands of years ago, but it's what we believe. We go off the bible, you go off people in white lab coats who make educated guesses.

    Question for Atheists

an educated guess is better then an uneducated guess. And besides Scientist arent biased like religious people, the look at all the posibilities, gave huge amounts of evidence before they draw a conclusion. If you ever bother to read darwins theory of evolution, or atleast watch a documentation, you would realise how much they actually know.

Oh and the bible isnt evidence, its a novel.

    Question for Atheists

No, we believe based on evidence. This is rational. You believe based on the lack of evidence. This is irrational.

Oh, "each person has their own evidence". "Science is wholly in the eyes of the beholder, and is not universal in nature". What utter, utter rubbish. Logic and reason are universal in nature. 2 + 2 = 4, whether you believe it or not. If you try to live your life avoiding this principle, you probably will not do very well for yourself.

    Question for Atheists

Evidence? Like the Universe expanding to create what we live in now? I don't recall scientist living in that time to know whether it's true or not. In your time of living, have you seen a star explode? What scientist claims to be facts aren't fact just mere theories.
