Name Purchase & Transfer Question.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the Sythe community, and had a question about Old School RuneScape name purchasing & transferring. I'm looking to buy a name in the near future for a brand new account that I'm going to make. My question is, if I were to purchase a name and the seller offers a transfer service as well, would they be able to create a brand new account with the purchased name? I'm OK with giving them the desired email and password I want to use in order to create the account, as I would just change the information after purchase and transfer. Also, I realize that some names are sold on fresh accounts, but I'm particular about not having a "name changed" icon next to my name on my friends list.

Hi Drexil not sure what you're asking. If they are offering a transfer service usually you provide the acc you want it on unless they've specified it will come on a "fresh" acc then its up to you to transfer .
If you want icon next to your name for shortest amount of time possible change your name once to something random then use a bond to change again to desired name and previous name shouldn't linger for too long seeing as it was immediately changed.

 

Do the fresh accounts usually come with non-registered email addresses? I would want the name on my "fresh" account for security purposes. Unless I'm just not understanding.

 

you should provide the new account otherwise you put yourself at risk for it to be potentially recovered since they made the account and not you.

 

If you're buying the name on a fresh account, it's expected that you're doing so to transfer it off yourself. Would not recommend you keeping it on that account, might as well make your own.

Unfortunately, most sellers don't really offer a proper transfer service, and rather just sell the account so that you do it yourself.

If you do get a transfer service, it can either be to your own established account, or to a fresh account that you made if you prefer.
