You cannot get a good prebuilt in that price bracket. Building your own is simple and a lot more cost effective.

It's as simple as building lego. Watch a quick video and you'll grasp it.

Building a computer is super simple and you can buy second hand parts for super cheap. $600 will not get you a good pre-built or parted computer. Your price bracket needs to either get a little bigger or go with building with second hand parts.

Good? No. Any modern gaming pc needs an SSD.

Build a pc or have someone do it for you. If you want a good pc, i5 8400, 1060 3gb, 16 gb ram for pubg, any gold or better psu with 450w and a cheap 120 gb + ssd

SSD does nothing for framerate or game performance though?

An SSD only helps you boot applications and processes quicker. SSD can be the most expensive part of the build. You can make the argument SSD will last longer and is easier to resell, but you are suppose to put your OS on the SSD, and not your games (granted, you can, but its just not worth it... might as well put PSD, Movie making applications, and other productivity programs along with OS on SSD).

Go launch any game off a Ssd and tel me it’s a waste. It’s not.

Anywho, I want to change my statement to this:
Any modern pc needs an SSD.

Don’t buy a pc without an SSD as its just not going to feel any faster than any old dual core from the old days.

I agree 100%. Usually normal hdd's are one of the biggest bottlenecks that go unnoticed.

I have a 1tb with games on steam, and I don't care if it takes longer or slower to load, thats an opinion question, i'm more value/frugal if anything. All you really need is a small ssd for windows if you want a 10 second faster boot time, the rest can be a 7200rpm 1tb

That's fine. As I said in another thread not too long ago, I did the same for years as I only had a 120gb ssd at the time. Just saying any PC needs at least a small boot drive of preferably 120gb+ so it's not a slow piece of garbage :p

You're not going to get anything great for $600 but if you up your price with the recent GPU price rise it almost makes more sense to buy pre-built rather than build it yourself.

A lot of big pre-built companies still get graphics cards for wholesale so they don't upcharge them a lot for a profit.

Prebuilt PCs are hard to come by for that price range. I suggest you go bargain hunting on craigslist for parts and build yourself a decent PC. I've seen on $500-600 PC builds that run pretty well but have to really hunt for the bargains.
