    Nah, I've been waiting for my account recovery stuff for a long while now. I don't even blame @Charlotte though because account recovery is a tough job for staff. I just really think more staff should be involved with it and not just Charlotte.

    @Wortel please bring up the idea of adding more people to handle the account recovery section. It's an important section that's being pretty neglected at the moment. You need to be able to retain users who are trying to get their accounts back, and if it's taking forever, many people who are not as patient or involved as I am would just forget about Sythe which isn't good for the user base.

    I'd like to note that the section is not being neglected. I usually have threads replied to within 1-2 days and I tend to check up on them when I'm at work but it's been an extremely busy week for me. Judging one week vs other weeks is unfair to say that it is being neglected - though I do understand your frustrations so I apologize.

    This is true.

    No need to apologize when you're the only one seemingly doing anything about account recoveries. Again, not sure if this is because roles/duties are assigned to different admins, but nonetheless, thank you for your time and effort. I will admit that I jumped the gun as far as not being "super" patient, but I just want to get on my main account so I can start rolling out cool ideas and participate with my usual alias.

    You don't need to apologize at all. It's a one woman show right now, and I feel there needs to be AT LEAST one more administrator on the job. Maybe promote a global to do it as well? There just needs to be more than one person doing it because busy weeks do come up and having two staff members taking care of it lessen the chances that it goes untouched for more than 24 hours.

    Thanks for all the work you're putting into the section, though. It's a tough section that often goes unappreciated.

    It's because she wants to do it as her primary role/responsibility. If help is wanted or needed, she knows to ask for it, but rarely will she ever do that. I don't recall Charlotte ever asking for help with recoveries.

    She keeps the section handled on a regular basis rather well. I check the section and her work from time to time as an audit to ensure everything is being done correctly and in a timely manner. I was doing this to sectionals/globals as well not too long ago, but it created a negative tension due to the number of mistakes reported or that I witnessed/discovered on a weekly basis.

    Those of you that allowed Gun back onto the site are honestly retarded. I can't name a single contribution he's made to the site and yet he receives special treatment in the form of a pardon or DNT every few months when he does more scummy shit. At this point I'm genuinely curious how many more times you guys will make the same mistake. It's like watching someone collide with a sliding glass door, take a few steps back, then walk straight back into it 15 times in a row

    Tension? If they’re fucking up, that’s on them to be called out for it. If they don’t like it, then they’re not suited for staff. Staff should be able to take criticism so that they can improve, especially from fellow staff

    Lol I didn't see this. I saw the (Vote added) next to his pardon in that one thread but didn't realize he had no votes in his favor before that. Initially I thought @Sythe saw a tie after-the-fact and decided to throw a yes vote in. Seems he came in and overruled the entire voting process instead?

    I've reported a thread 4-5+ times for false advertisement (with adequate proof) and they have not received a punishment.

    Does this mean people are allowed to falsely advertise now and get away with it?

    Should probably make more use of the mod rotation system given that it's been like 5 months since people have applied and we've quite a few inactive mods. Shin bumped the promoting mods thread 2 days after some promotions happened in January stating he was looking for 3-5 mods, what happened did you decide it was unnecessary? Seems like shit is real slow with the staff nowadays, I may be wrong on a lot of this but I'd like some clarity.

    Not only to add to HHN's comment, people are applying and being denied due to reasons unknown, but they receive feedback that allows them to prosper so after their cooldown they can apply again and have a better chance than before. I know for a fact at least a handful of people have applied since that bump :) mods are hard to come by, or worthy ones at least.

    The case wasn't thrown out because of it's age, it was thrown out because the victim waited more than 5 years to come forward. While I disagree with that personally, as I understand it your victims did not wait to post reports. The ruling wasn't "Anyone who broke the rules 5+ years ago is free and clear" it was "There is a certain period of time that a victim has to come forward and report a scam, if this 'statute of limitations' expires before they have reported the scam, it will have to be handled elsewhere."
