Yeah it's completely legal because you're agreeing to their terms by creating a user name. Also there are laws that protect companies that data track on computers.

Don't worry, Jagex can't view your processes or browsing history - BUT they can view data on your playing history.

I'm not sure yet how the land lies, on one hand all the 5 black mark bans were from bot-busting and issued directly from J-Mods who specifically search for bots in game. This suggests that the automated system is still not capable of detecting the bot.

However, I've heard reports like miner's where he wasn't botting at the time he spoke to the J-Mod. This could just be because auto-talker data was contained in the playing history snapshot, or it could be because of some other data in the snapshot.

It's never easy to analyse these things, but I'm inclined to believe if it was some other data, like mouse movements, then Jagex would find it much easier to write an automated system to detect it than go in-game.

So what I've done so far is revamped the auto-talker, added detection for people following you, changed the mouse movements a bit. Tomorrow I will finish off a few other things, including diversifying the order in which the bot performs certain actions, so it will very much be a new and more human bot (as it is with each update).

Remember however, that it may still be possible to get banned based on data of playing history contained in your snapshot even when the new bot comes out. It may be a good idea to take the week off from the MTA.

I'll try my best to have the update finished tomorrow though.

I've not been able to check my mails the past few days, because I've been non-stop working on the bot.

As far as I know, people were getting 5 black marks tops, but still, what would you want me to say in an e-mail. As far as I remember, you had like two rule 6 bans and a rule 7 adding up to 12.8 - what's the average rule 6 ban?

Anyway, if you mean cracked into a working bot. I know some smart people have tried, and none managed to get any pizzaz points - I doubt you have either. My personal opinion is you need to blow off some steam. Take a few days off, give me a bit of space to improve the bot. If you want to continue using it when it's updated, it could help you make back anything lost, and when I have the time to check my mails I'll find out what you had to say that was so urgent it couldn't wait a couple of days.

1) You didn't crack it. You're illiterate; there's no way you can potentially crack a sophisticated program. You'd need to submit it to some Java expert and even he'd have a difficult time with it.

2) Stop bitching about it getting you banned when you chose to use it, and used a supposedly "cracked" version none the less. Moronic I say.
