Basically pop-metal. Most pathetic music genre ever, only there to spawn more money for the record companies.

 

I prefer bands like Dance Gavin Dance, Pierce the Veil, The Devil Wears Prada, Norma Jean, Underoath, Burden of a Day, Oh, Sleeper, As I Lay Dying, Haste the Day, ect. I guess it's an acquired taste. I can't stand the pissy true emo shit though... Not scremo, but emo. BIG difference.

Also, the genre of this type of music is Metalcore. You will associate this with Hardcore, Mathcore, Screamo, Grindcore, Nintendocore(<3 HTB), and basicly everything that ends with core.

 

Nu metal is a mix between rap and rock. I agree with your other point, but at least get the facts straight.

 

I'm sorry, but I love this music, i'm not sure why, but it really calms me down and helps when i'm designing.

It's a part of it, yes. The main point of Nu-Metal is to fuse metal with more popular genres.

Just because you do not like it, does not mean it cannot be considered music, as much as I hate the entire rap genre, I accept the fact that it is considered music.

You may not like it, but I love it, so in my mind, it is good music. You can have your opinion about it, and I have mine.

What makes this band pathetic, and pop-metal? It takes a great deal of skill to growl properly without fucking your voice up, and winston pulls it off. And what do you mean it's only around to spawn money for the record companies? These guys started out in a garage playing music they love just like every other band, so the same could be said for any band you like.
